Fashion is in the air!It’s difficult to surprise people in the fashion biz, but Grazia International did it with an unusual flash mob in front of some of the main fashion shows: four lovely fairies in fuchsia dresses and a mysterious black box out of which a huge inflatable floral handbag, in line with spring/summer 2013 collections, emerged in a matter of seconds. The crowd absolutely loved it, and whirligigs were distributed to the public for a fun touch.

The Grazia International Network organized a special distribution of Grazia’s Big Fashion Issues in the luxury hotels of downtown Milan during Milan Fashion Week. That way, Grazia was present in all the key locations of this iconic week of fashion.

“Toujours chic” was the exhibit that Grazia organized for the launch of Givenchy’s new feminine “Dahlia Noir” fragrance with a rocker soul. Held from Sept. 4 to 13, 2012 at the Sephora store in downtown Milan, the exhibit showcased covers and pages from Grazia chosen from the historical archives as well as Givenchy clothes and accessories. Readers followed the event on Grazia, with features on the historical exhibit and the exclusive cocktail party at

Sephora. Grazia also gave readers a chance to become a Grazia cover girl for a day on the Grazia-Dahlia Noir by Givenchy branded set and to fully experience the magazine mood for a day!

“TOUJOURS CHIC” WITH GRAZIA AND GIVENCHY

The Grazia and grazia.it contest has begun that asks Grazia readers to tell what makes their life “beautiful”. Many readers sent pictures, wrote brief texts, and commented on the beauty of life. The contest, which was launched in Grazia issue 41/2012 and will continue through October, is linked with the launch of “La vie est belle”, the new fragrance of Givenchy Parfumes. The traditional appointment with Fashion & Design returns for its fifth edition, and Grazia has organized lots of dates and runway shows of important brands. Once again, Sunday is dedicated to kids, who took the catwalk from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m., wearing outfits by prestigious childrenswear manufacturers such as Brums, Asso, Eddie Pen and Woolrich Kids.

The “20 Photographs for Africa” exhibit by Talitha Puri Negri, who chose Grazia.it as her sole official media partner, was held at the famous Sotheby’s auction house in Milan. Each of the photos was auctioned off with the objective of donating all proceeds to the Twins International non-governmental organization. The event was presented by OVS, the fast fashion brand leader in Italy that dressed 16 Milanese high society girls for the occasion.

The Sephora Makeup Masters 2012 finale by Lancôme was held on Tuesday, Sept. 25, under the expert guidance of Claudio Fratoni, the Lancôme National Makeup Artist, at the Sephora store in Milan.

During Milan Fashion Week, the Grazia.it staff moved to downtown Milan near the beating heart of the most stylish week of the year. For the occasion, the team moved into the Rosa Grand Hotel, which set aside an entire area of the hotel for Grazia.it so it could get a close-up look at the runway shows. The week was filled with a variety of activities – such as the “Fashion Editor for a Day” project — and the exclusive cocktail party that involved several Editors-in-Chief from the Grazia International Network, who released an interview to Tamu McPherson, Head of Grazia.it. The Grazia.it staff (below) also created a delish ‘fashion salad’ that was sold during fashion week.

For this edition of Paris Fashion Week, Grazia France will certainly be remembered! Thanks to a special partnership with street artist Gambette, some of the top shows of the week – Valentino, Chloé and Kenzo – were interpreted in an unusual and innovative way. Directly connected with the Grazia France team attending the shows, the artist created 3 paintings using spray paint, based on suggestions texted from the shows. Colors, materials, and prints appearing on the catwalk triggered the fantasy of Gambette, who staged a show on the street as he painted the three works. Meanwhile, Grazia girls wearing hoodies designed by Gambette handed out copies of Grazia. The paintings were presented to the public during an exclusive vernissage at Wanderlust, a cool new Paris night spot. Each painting was accompanied by an iPad with a film of his performance.

Grazia Style Hunter bloggers and photographers searched the streets of seven cities in the UK -- Liverpool, Birmingham, Leeds, London, Cardiff, Manchester and Edinburgh -- to see which was most stylish. They tracked down the best street style in each city and saw some amazing outfits and style inspiration.
