project highlights

GIS

KFW’s GIS team created Rockspring Capital’s very own custom GIS website. KFW continues to assist in the maintenance and management of the site. Rockspring Capital’s data covers a majority of central Texas.

Our Geographical Information Systems (GIS) proprietary service helps our engineers greatly reduce the time needed to research potential properties for our land development clients. These customized GIS sites include KFW’s municipal, county, state, and federal data sets merged with our clients’ unique data.

CORDOVA CROSSING RESIDENTIAL

KFW is currently serving as the civil engineer and surveyor for this impressive and expansive new 257-lot subdivision development in Seguin, Texas.

Our team for this project is based out of our New Braunfels office. The first phase of the project has been recently completed and KFW is currently under design and platting the second phase.

This project included the new construction of an approximately 4,800 sq. ft. retail and restaurant building, as well as site improvements on a larger existing building.

Preservation was a huge concentration on this project, and to add to that effect, older features were added into the newer structure to maintain the look. The design featured rounded corners towards the top of the building - this was added as a feature to tie the new building to the previous Olmos Pharmacy.

space invaders!

When KFW’s Engagement Coordinator, Danielle Salvador, was tasked with creating

fun activities for employees to complete from home, she reached for the stars!

Danielle created and found exciting activities to boost employee morale, such as the Space

Invaders Excel Spreadsheet game.

“It pushed me out of my comfort zone and lead to researching what other firms (and

even schools) were doing,” says Danielle. “It was fun being creative with my options and

tailoring them to our employees!”

kfw cares

As part of Endangered Species Day on May 19th, KFW donated $50 to the Texas Parks and Wildlife

Foundation.

This donation will help protect high-priority native species, support Texas State Parks to continue

operations, and provide access to outdoor recreation opportunities.
