On Sunday the 4th of September

the "XXIII Robinson Classic Trophy"

was held in Vall d’Or Golf. The tour-

nament was held under the Stable-

ford individual modality. The 100

participants enjoyed ideal weather

to practice the game of golf and a

course which as per usual was at its

best.

The tournament was divided up into

two categories for the ladies, re-

warding the 2 first classified of each

category, and 2 categories for the

gents, also rewarding the 2 first

classified of each category. At the

same time the Scratch winner of the

ladies and the gents, also both re-

ceived a prize.

After the wonderful buffet organized

by the fabulous team of the Robin-

son Club Cala Serena, Mr. Monti

Galmés, CEO of Robinson in Spain

and Portugal, and Mr. Israel

Rodríguez, Managing Director of Vall

d'Or Golf, directed the awards cere-

mony in a relaxed and absolute

cordiality.

After the prize giving a great raffle

of fantastic prizes was held for all

the participants of the tournament.

Once again all the participants are

looking forward to the next edition

of the Robinson Classic Trophy,

which shall be held in Vall d’Or on

the 8th of September 2012.

the 3rd round of the Wednesday

Golf Tournament 2011/2012 was

held, under the Stableford Individual

modality. This months winner in the

ladies category was Mrs. Katja

Maier, with 43 pts; followed by Mrs

Anne Marie-Muller, with 29 pts. The

winner in the Gents Category was

Mr Helmut Klemme with 36 pts.;

followed by Mr. Holger Bungert with

35 pts.

2.– Katja Maier with 113 pts. 2.- Marco Etter with 93 pts.

pleasure to us to let you know that Vall d’Or has been

selected, out of 6.794 golf courses, as number 23.

During the past month of August, Mr Oliver Albrecht

from www.1golf.eu initiated a survey on the most

popular golf courses in Europe. 2.554 golf players

from 34 different countries participated in it. Thank

you !

The ACGB (Asociación de Campos de Golf de Baleares), has deci-

des to postpone their first golf competition, which was due to be

held on the 5th of November, to the beginning of next year.
