We hope that you have all had a great summer. Things have been busy here, as normal, but we have all managed to grab some time away from the office.

We have welcomed Kayleigh Revell to the team over the summer and she will now be looking after the course bookings. Her direct number is 07747 740 311.

Kayleigh will be working with Kate at her office until our new premises are up and running early next year. Kate is not disappearing she will still be looking after Clients requirements and promoting the business to a wider audience her direct number is 07507 220 268.

COURSE INFORMATIONWe would remind all customers that the price increases and new locations for the person tests are now in force and we would encourage you to ensure that joining instructions are forwarded to the delegates so that they arrive in the right locations and don’t just turn up where they have done the training before!!

Blackley Golf Club, Victoria Avenue East, Blackley, Manchester, M9 7HW

As the name suggests this is a trailer classroom located within the grounds of the golf club.

Replacement for Hitchin

Fairclough Hall, Halls Green, Weston, Hertfordshire, SG4 7DP

This trailer classroom is located within the grounds of a farm which has been converted into a shopping area.

We will be visiting both locations in the coming weeks and will update joining instructions with as much detail as possible for you.

As previously advised, the prices for National Grid Person tests have increased from the 1st September, here is a reminder of the new prices that are now applicable in each location.

NEW PRICES PERSON AND BESC AME ON THE SAME DAY? POSSIBLE BUT WHAT ABOUT THE CANDIDATE!

Due to restrictions with site access and having been allocated specific time slots for assessments, we will be asking more questions about your operatives before we book them for Person and BESC AME on the same day.

If they are for a renewal then there will be no issues but, if the candidate is taking the assessment for the first time we want to ensure that they have every possible chance of passing this Person test without rushing to meet the time constraints for a BESC starting at 11.30.

We have found that first time applicants are struggling with the additional Impressed Voltage unit and this is delaying them arriving on time to complete the BESC.

If candidates are put forward to do the Person and BESC on the same day and have not arrived to carry out their BESC by 11.45 – they will be turned away and will have to attend on an alternative date and charges will apply.

CARD PAYMENTSWe would advise all customers that we do now accept card payments as an alternative means of settling your invoices.

If you would like to pay by card there will be an additional charge of £5.00 to cover the bank charges for this method of payment.
