North Coast Swimming Carnival results
Congratulations to our relay team who travelled to Ballina
last week to compete in the carnival. They came 5th place in
their race! What a terrific effort! Thank you to parents for
providing transport to the carnival. Please enjoy the photos
on the school website.
Funky Hair Day
WOW! There were some amazing hairstyles at school today!
Thank you to the parents and students for supporting the
Leukaemia Foundation’s World Greatest Shave fundraising
campaign. A total of $28.40 was raised and will be
forwarded to the Leukaemia Foundation to support the 35
Australians diagnosed with blood cancer every single day.
Bullying. No way!
This Friday, Australian schools will stand united for the ninth
National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence. On the
day students will take part in activities based on this year’s
theme, ‘Bullying. No Way! Take action everyday.’
Harmony Day
On Friday 29 March the school will
celebrate Harmony Day. Families
are invited to attend for a cultural
presentation and luncheon, from
11.00am. We ask that families
provide a plate of food to share. Students are asked to ‘dress
-up’ in an outfit representing another culture or country. We
look forward to a day of celebrating Australia’s cultural
diversity.

Thank you to everyone who has donated towards our mothers day raffle so far. What a wonderful selection of items ! It is not too late to donate if you haven’t already. Items such as chocolates, perfume, soaps, gift vouchers or any item that will ‘pamper’ mums would be appreciated! Donations may be left at the school office. Thank You!
