Student Highlights

Aundreia L. Evans Alexis M. Garcia Krystal M. Saenz

Passed their comprehensive exam this fall. Congratulations on successfully completing this important

step in the program! The comprehensive exam is a culminating requirement determining academic readiness to graduate. As soon as students reach 30-credit hours in the program, they are eligible to sign up for comps. To do this, simply email the program coordinator. The comprehensive exam is offered only during spring and fall semesters.

ESL Conversation Hour

Master’s students enrolled in ADED 5342/7342 ESL Methods offered a conversation hour to ESL adult learners on campus for five weeks this Fall. The purpose was to provide a community service as well as to have the opportunity to practice teaching English to an actual adult learner. Thank you to the collaboration provided by the Texas State Intensive English (TSIE) program and colleagues from the Curriculum and Instruction department.

Congratulations on successfully completing this project!
