Independent LivingPlease join Marie from Activities along with her Girl Scout troop for an evening of holiday fun on December 12th. Troop 707 is a group of girls that are in middle school and high school. Some of the girls have been together since kindergarten. Her troop loves to camp and have fun together. They will be going to Savannah, Georgia to visit the home of Juliette Gordon Low, the founder of Girl Scouts, over Thanksgiving break. We look forward seeing you all on the 12th.

Our holiday event in December is going to be one to remember. Join us on Wednesday, December 20th between 5 to 7 pm to enjoy good food, great fellowship and show off

your ugliest sweater.Ugly Sweater Contest starts promptly at 6 pm.

No charge to attend, residents and families invited!

Tis The Season!The Activities Department has a lot of exciting activities this month for the holiday season. This month’s events will include a Hanukkah Celebration, holiday parties and even a Noon Year’s Eve Party. We will be having special holiday performances from a local Girl Scout troop, elementary school, and music school. Sonata West is having our fi rst annual Ugly Sweater Holiday Bash on Wednesday, December 20th from 5-7p with live music. We encourage you to wear your ugliest sweater, invite your families and party down.

The bus has arrived! Our fi rst theatre trip is to the Winter Garden Theatre to see Annie on December 23rd. If you missed the deadline to sign up for Annie, sign up now for our next theatre outing, Broadway Baby at the Florida Lakes Symphony Orchestra on Friday, January 12th.

Additionally, we will be heading to Soul Haven Ranch on December 22nd to see miniature therapy horses. We still have space available to go to Soul Haven Ranch! The trip is free; however, they do accept donations for their therapy horses. Do you have grandkids nearby? Invite them to meet you there.
