Some very exciting news from one of our students. The

City of Leicester Swimming Club have selected Harry Hathaway, and several others, to represent Swimming at the International Children’s Games in South Korea 2012. This is an amazing acheivement and we all wish him the best of luck!

In November last year, I took my Grade 5 ballet exam. The

results came through and I got a merit. From here, I am going to go into Intermediate.I started ballet when I was 3 and since then I have taken 4 ballet exams. Ballet isn’t what you think it is! As I have been doing ballet for so long, it just comes naturally to me.

I am hoping to get a merit on my Intermediate exam and then go on to join the Birmingham Royal Ballet.

We visited Wisteria House in Uppingham on the 2nd February. This is a lovely place where eldery

residents live. These people are retired and no longer live independantly. They just need a little extra help. We arranged to set up a few activities, which included; playing bingo, playing cards, bar skittles and dominoes. Sarah Smith and Ben Sharman made cakes while they visited and stayed for lunch. Everyone had an enjoyable time.
