    Last Week of Term 3Its hard to believe that next week will be the last week of term 3. In addition to our regular Mondaymorning assembly, we will have a final assembly to finish the term at around 2:10 on Friday 19thSeptember. Please note that students will be dismissed early at 2:30pm from the Bendigo Bank Hall tobegin their term 3 holiday break.

    Bikes & Scooters Many children ride bikes and scooters to school each day. All bikes and scootersmust be stored in the appropriate bike racks. Please ensure your child has a lock

    where necessary for security. All children who ride a bike or scooter must wear a

    helmet which is a requirement by the Government. The school regularly reminds allchildren about wearing helmets for their safety. All bikes, scooters, skateboards,ribst ics and helmets must be labelled, with your childs name and class. Children

    are reminded they must walk their bike, scooter, skateboard or ribstic to andfrom the school gates. No bikes are to be brought through the school buildings

    and we request, where possible, that Scooters are also not walked through the building.

    Early Release All children collected from school before 3.30pm must be signed outat the Office. If a child is signed out at Recess or Lunch time, the Office staff willcall the child to the Office and then ensure the Early Release Pass is given to the

    supervising teacher.

    Compulsory HatsFrom the start of next term we will return to the wearing of a school approved hat. Our hatis green in colour and is designed to promote the protection of the neck and

    ears as well as the face. Compulsory hats are a School Council Policy, whichwill be strictly enforced.

    Children who dont wear an approved hat will be required to stay in asheltered area during school recess times. NO BASEBALL HAT IS OR WILL BE

    APPROVED. School hats with our school logo can be purchased from Beleza Uniform Shopin Rosebud.

    Active After School FINAL SESSIONS for Football and Basketball will be Tuesday 16 th + Thursday 18 th September

    Prep B Mrs Bos Lily Gaul for the fantastic work in Maths partitioning 20 3 different ways.Prep P Mrs Prossor Bryson Beagley for his enthusiasm and extra effort he is making duringconcert rehearsals.1H Mrs Morssinkhof Abigail H. for great work in addition and beautiful handwriting. 1P Miss Perkins Alisha Vassallo for her outstanding performance at the Art and Music festival.You were nervous but played confidently and beautifully with a smile.2B Mrs Baird Mackenzie Inglis for her confident performance on the piano at the Music / Art

    festival.- Lachlan George for his impressive clarinet performance at the Music/Art festival.

    2J - Mrs Johnstone Chloe Pearce for her happy performance at the Music F estival and for a wecan do it! attitude when someone else couldnt play.3/4T- Miss Withers Lilly Gorton for her fantastic performance at the music and art festival. Welldone Lilly I can see how hard you have been practicing.3/W Ms Walton Lily Buck for her excellent questioning during English groups. Lily is a veryhelpful member of our class at all times which I appreciate.4/5S Miss Staley Sophie Holliss for her outstanding contribution to the Art and Music Festival.Sophie you played Taylor Swifts You Belong With Me on your flute with confidence and it soundedsensational. You should be very proud of yourself. Well done!5Q Miss Quintin Jordan Walker for being such a great competitor at the District Athletics. Youexemplified the RICH School Values with a touch of bravery. Well done! 6B Mrs Bruin Jarrod Williams for an amazing effort at the District Athletics. You gave each race100%, coming from last to 2 nd place in the 800m. Your place at Zone is well deserved. Good luck!

    Art Miss Davey Riley OBrien Prep B for creating a beautiful wax and wash art work. Welldone!Music Mrs Young Sophie Lazner 5Q - what an excellent drumming Free Style Solo you hadcreated for the Art & Music Festival. It was varied and elaborate and displayed your great talent.     Come dressed in your footy team colours and join in singing the Club Theme Songsfrom 11.30am.

    At the conclusion the Parents Association will distribute Pies for children who haveplaced an order.

    Orders for Pie Day MUST be received no Later than 9.30am Tuesday 16 th September.

    Our Annual School Concert will be held on Friday 24 th Octoberat Eastbourne Primary School Hall

    Tickets will go on saleMonday 15 th September

    @ $7.00 each.

    Please pre purchase tickets to avoid the rush on the nightHelpers are needed each Thursday from 1.30pm to help with props and costumes
