What a wonderful time we are having at St Brigid’s - exciting
learning, fantastic fundraisers and community collaboration
through out.
Congratulations and a Heartfelt Farewell
Our dynamic and highly efficient Leader of Learning and
Teaching, Gabe Agius, has been offered and accepted the
position of Deputy Principal at St Mary's in Lancefield.
We, at St Brigid's, will definitely miss Gabe, her hard work,
excellent organisational skills and insightful knowledge.
I know you will all join me to wish her all the best for the future at
St Mary's and know that she will do an amazing job.
All our love Gabe - we send every blessing and congratulations
on this new part of your career.

REGION ATHLETICS
Congratulations to Emily Danister (discus) and Jasmine Matthews (shot put) for reaching region
standards with Athletics and doing their best at the competition on October 15. The girls said they
were pleased to be involved in regions and the competition was impressive. Well done to you both
for getting that far.

St Patrick’s Annual Mission Mass
On Wednesday 23rd of October, the school leaders attended the annual Mission Mass at St. Patrick’s
Cathedral. We took a bus at 9am to Melbourne where they started the mass at 11am until 12pm. Other
schools from all around Victoria also attended. When the mass finished we walked to the Fitzroy
Gardens and played on the huge trees before eating our lunch. After lunch, we went to the Fairy Tree
and Cook’s Cottage. On behalf of the leaders, we would like to say thank you to Kath and Tracey for
taking us there.

For my Grade 6 Genius Hour Project, I will be
offering the opportunity to our current and
prospective families to secure second hand
uniforms.
I will be holding our “Pay it Forward Uniform Stall”
at the St Brigid’s Orientation Days Thursday 31st
October & 7th November, Also I will hold a stall
after our assembly on Friday 25th October, Friday
1st November and 15th November.
