Timing Chips This coming season we have changed to NZs best timing system provider, Race timing, whom time events such as The Beach Series. This Wednesday, no deposit needs to be paid for your timing chip. At each event you need to go to the JCSS caravan as per last year to sign in and also receive your timing chip then. At the conclusion of each race after your Horleys Replace we require all participants to hand in their timing chip. Race board Grading Race – Wednesday 7pm This applies to anyone registered in the following categories:
* 12’6 Raceboard * 14 foot Over 90kg *14 foot under 90kg *Masters.
There will be a briefing at 650pm by the JCSS trailer to outline the course and how the grading race and system for the series works. You can wear any paddling attire you like i.e. doesn’t have to be your JCSS race shirt. At this stage we have 62 paddlers in these two categories so we are looking at 2 waves, top 30 in wave one and the remainder in Wave 2. Anyone not able to make it on Wednesday for this Grading Race will start in the 2nd wave on November 13th unless a top NZ SUP paddler emails Troy previous to the start.
This year we are stoked to announce that with a HUGE thanks to our 5x on site SUP Brands / Retail stores, we have 5x SUP boards to give away at the end of the year, to the winners of the 5x largest SUP divisions. The winner of whichever SUP division has the most 12 week participants in it, will get to choose from the 5x available SUPS as their 1st prize. The winner of the 2nd largest SUP division will then have the choice of the 4 remaining SUP boards etc. Here is an image of NSPs new 12’6 contribution to the prize pool.

The Red Paddle Co 12’6″ Race
The Red Race will amaze you, this board means business. A stripped down racing thoroughbred. Weight is saved by having deck grip in only the most essential
areas. The Rocker line is designed to give fast glide and ride. The single nose fin helps tracking. The centre fin gives just the right amount of grip without adding
drag.
FALCON The new Falcon Race is quite simply built for speed. The same board that has taken World Champions Angela Jackson, Olivia Piana and Chase Kosterlitz across the finish line can fly under your feet. With a revolutionary bow shape and adjusted scoop line, the Falcon Race is faster and more stable than ever before. Testing was conducted all over the world – from Australia, to Florida, to Maui, to ensure these boards work as well in choppy ocean swell as they do in flat water. Special attention was made to ensure simple, easy foot steering in cross-wind and chop. Take your speed to the next level.
