Scholarship Season IsUpon Us!

Dear ladies of AAUW Wyandotte-Downriver,

As you celebrate this Christmas seasonplease be on the lookout for collegestudents who might be great candidates tothe NCCWSL leadership conference inMaryland from May 29 - June 1, 2019.

The Foundation has approved the funds to pay for the bus transportation andregistration fees for three young women. Now we need you to locate young women whohave an interest in being leaders; who have been involved in activities that benefitsociety in general and women in particular. Nieces, neighbors, church members, andfriends of friends are all good choices.

Send your recommendations to me [email protected] with their name and email contactinformation. I will send them information about the scholarship application they need tocomplete. Information about the conference is available on line at AAUWNCCWSL/updates. The registration process has already started, and the ScholarshipCommittee will be hoping to find three conscientious candidates.

Happy Holidays!Jackie Hector AAUW Wyandotte-Downriver Board of Directors
