Trijicon ACOG® Aces NTOA Exam, Gains “Member Tested and Recommended” Approval Earning top individual scores for design, performance, ease of use, size, quality, durability, storage, versatility, convenience, application and accuracy, the Trijicon ACOG TA31F 4x32 scope received a perfect “5” overall ranking from the National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA).

With this ranking, the ACOG (Advanced Combat Optical Gunsight) gained the NTOA’s coveted “Member Tested and Recommended” approval.

Limited to those in law enforcement, corrections, tactical emergency medical response, military police and special operations, the NTOA is comprised of more than 30,000 members, including more than 1,600 teams.

“Obviously, you don’t gain their seal of approval simply by showing up.”

On behalf of the NTOA, a veteran law enforcement officer tested the ACOG at varying target distances and in multiple firing modes, using a full-size flattop AR15, a 12-inch machine gun, and a DPMS 6.8mm AP4 Panther carbine.

New Trijicon RedDot™ 4.0 MOA — a Red-Hot ItemIntroduced in July, the new Trijicon RedDot 4.0 MOA Sight is gaining great interest from dealers as well as shooting enthusiasts. On the ACOG’s overall construction, the tester stated, “The scope is well made and the fit and finish were perfect.” He also said, “It is a very high quality and rugged scope.”

As for ease of use, he noted, “I was very impressed with the clarity and brightness of the ACOG. At the range it only took a few rounds to zero in the scope.”

The NTOA evaluator concluded by saying this about the Trijicon ACOG, “With its ultra clear optics and large field of view, it is well suited for long range, intermediate and in-close applications.”

The full review will soon be published in the NTOA’s The Tactical Edge journal and its Member Tested Product Review Guide.

Company Doubles Its O&P Extremity Games Commitment!Following a spectacular opening ceremony with tandem-parachute teams, Wounded Warriors and other athletes with limb loss or limb difference competed at the 2007 O&P Extremity Games 2 in Orlando on July 19-21.

Participants competed in skateboarding, wakeboarding, BMX biking, rock climbing, kayaking and surfing. At the closing ceremonies, the athletes along with the men and women from America’s armed services were recognized with standing ovations, which concluded the games on an encouraging note.

Trijicon’s donation to the Extremity Games and sponsorship of the Wounded Warrior Project – coupled with the generous support of Floriday Resorts of Orlando – enabled 30 wounded service members to travel with their families to the event, doubling the number of Wounded Warrior athletes able to participate.

The company’s support of these worthy causes continues a longstanding commitment to American service men and women, both on and off the battlefield.
