Congratulations to UCEDA ESL Program GraduatesOn Wednesday, June 23, 2021 Unitex hosted a graduation for ESL students from the New Brunswick, NJ plants. Graduating from UCEDA’s ESL program is a particularly momentous milestone for these graduates, as they are all immigrants. Our em-ployees persevered for over a year through the pandemic, staying late every week to attend class, and practicing a new set of skills that will benefit them for the rest of their lives. I wanted to send you a thankful note concerning Brian Mindich. He has been outstanding in his attentiveness to our Ambulato-ry Surgical Center (ASC). As we are a relatively new ac-count, we have needed to adjust invento-ry, delivery, and service logistics along the way. Through it all, Brian has maintained a healthy line of communication and has made suggestions for inventory that would have been impossible for me to calculate. These efforts have allowed me to focus on other priorities and have resulted in signif-icant savings to the ASC as well. Fue un hito particularmente tras-cendental para estos graduados, ya que todos son inmigrantes, que perseveraron durante más de un año a través de la pandemia, quedándose hasta tarde todas las semanas para asistir a clases y practicando nuevas habilidades que los beneficiarán por el resto de sus vidas.
