The SAC-IAWJ celebrates the appointment of Judge Tebogo Djaje as Acting DJP, North West Division of the High Court from 1 April 2019 to- 30 June 2019.

• Judge Victor holds B.Soc.Sci, LLB, Diplomas in Arbitration and Advanced Tax Law.

• She is a Judge of the Gauteng Divsion since 2008 and was appointed as a Judge of Compertition Appeal Court in 2018.

• She was a SAC-IAWJ Vice-President during the 2016 - 2018 term.

The SAC-IAWJ celebrates the appointment of Judge Margie Victor as Acting DJP, Gauteng Division for the period 1 May 2019 to 14 August 2019.

• Judge Djaje was appointed to the North West Division of the High Court in 2017.

• She served as a Magistrate in Klerksdorp in 2001 - 2004 and Regional Magistrate in Mmabatho in 2004 - 2016.

• She holds BProc and LLB degrees from the University of the North West.

The SAC-IAWJ proudly acknowledges and congratulates Charlotte Oosthuizen-Senekal on her appointmentend as Acting as a Judge of the North-West High Court, Mahikeng for the period 6 May 2019 to 2 June 2019.

She was appointed as a Regional Magistrate in Klerksdorp, North West Province in 1998.

She is the:-

• Coordinator of Regional civil section.

• Member of Association of Regional Magistrates in South Africa.

• Secretary : South African Association of Women Judges.

• She holds a Baccalaureus Juris (1989) and LLB (1991) from the North West University.

The SAC-IAWJ proudly acknowledges one of its longest serving male member’s, Elkan Mametse, in being appointed to act as a Judge in the North West High Court from June 2019.

• Mr. Mametse obtained B Iuris degree from University of Limpopo in 1986 and LLB from VISTA University in 1997.

He has worked as:

• Prosecutor in1986 -1990.

• District Magistrate in 2000-2004.

• Regional Magistrate in 2004 to date.-
