New children are being given a home at Mango Children’s Home. Many of these children will havecome from very challenging backgrounds. This can be a difficult transition for them so please pray for all the children and the staff who will care for them.

Craig & Cristine, along with other members of ASCF are trying to Craig & Cristine, along with other members of ASCF are trying to develop a new project - Urban Gardening. There will be more information about this project in coming months and how you may be able to support them in this.

Craig is hopeful that a new stream of nancial support may be available to the Street Child World Cup. Craig & Cristine are nalising their itinerary to visit the UK next April. They will be joining us in Scunthorpe & Barton.

After 3 years of planning and preparing, Chris and Sabina have slowly started small groups.

They have made contact with some international publishing houses during a trip to a book fare in Frankfurt and as a result they are now working to get a Children’s Bible produced in Slovene.

Their annual married couples retreat (the 2nd yr.) was in Nov. and designed for marriage maintenance, and to allow couples a weekend out to reect on differing aspects of marriage. When Chris & Sabina came to the church there was only one married couple who attended regularly, now they have seven married couples and a half dozen more visiting. Sabina has now learnt how to complete interior book design. Design work has Sabina has now learnt how to complete interior book design. Design work has been the bottle neck in getting books out so this skill is proving very useful. Her second book that she has translated should go to the printer shortly. A team from newLife will join the Scobies next August to support them in their A team from newLife will join the Scobies next August to support them in their family camp. ZOC have had a change of staff recently as Samuel and Tellmore have tendered their resignation as they feel Godis taking them to the rural areas. They have done a superb job at Jabulani and Alan & Dorothy wish them well.

Two young ladies have been employed to replace them; Elizabeth, who has volunteered this past year and Deborah a young lady who ZOC has helped for many Deborah a young lady who ZOC has helped for many years in education. Please pray for them! Another staff member,Violet is going off on maternity leave at the end of December, please pray all goes well with the baby and her.
