WHAT IS A SCIENCE FAIR? A science fair is generally a competition where contestants present their science project experiments and results in the form of a report, display board, and models that they have created.

WHEN AND WHERE IS THE SCIENCE FAIR? The Science Fair will be held Feb. 20 and Feb. 21. It will be held at the Newell Middle School gymnasium.

WHAT GRADES CAN PARTICIPATE? Grades K-12 can participate in the science fair. Primary - grades K-2 Work can be Handwritten Typed Printouts done only by student on backdrop Intermediate - grades 3-5 Grades 3, 4 and 5 are required to complete the elementary log book Log book is to accompany project exhibit and have a cover Junior high - grade 6-8 Log book Abstract Senior High - grades 9-12 Log book required and abstract required Work must be typed or be a computer printout completed only by student Typed work recommended if considering regional competition
