Hi there Your council has been very active, and a lot has been happening hence another newsletter for the members. We successfully delivered the first Road Show. This was another event which we delivered jointly with the Fiji Trade Commission and the Fijian High Commission. The event was supported well by the respective Chambers of Commerce in each city, NZTE and Investment Fiji. The Road Show started in Wellington where Hon David Parker addressed the attendees. From there we travelled to Christchurch and finished up in Auckland. We addressed some 200 delegates over the 3 locations. There was a lot of interest in membership of our council and we have already received applications for membership. The events received good coverage back in Fiji on at least two occasions in the local dailies there. However, some media did not accurately report the parties who delivered the Road Show – that is unfortunate and disappointing. If you did not know at least you know now which parties delivered the road show. I attended a farewell lunch for outgoing Trade Commissioner Zarak Khan with the other members of the Fiji Trade Commission Auckland office. The Trade Commissioner acknowledged the support they have received from the Council and noted the excellent relationship the two organizations have established in such a short time – we have already this year delivered two events as a team.

Hi there

Your council has been very active, and a lot has been happening hence another newsletter for the members. We successfully delivered the first Road Show. This was another event which we delivered jointly with the FijiTrade Commission and the Fijian High Commission. The event was supported well by the respective Chambersof Commerce in each city, NZTE and Investment Fiji. The Road Show started in Wellington where Hon David Parker addressed the attendees. From there wetravelled to Christchurch and finished up in Auckland. We addressed some 200 delegates over the 3 locations. There was a lot of interest in membership of our council and we have already received applications formembership.

The events received good coverage back in Fiji on at least two occasions in the local dailies there. However, some media did not accurately report the parties who delivered the Road Show – that is unfortunate anddisappointing. If you did not know at least you know now which parties delivered the road show. I attended a farewell lunch for outgoing Trade Commissioner Zarak Khan with the other members of the FijiTrade Commission Auckland office. The Trade Commissioner acknowledged the support they have receivedfrom the Council and noted the excellent relationship the two organizations have established in such a short time– we have already this year delivered two events as a team.
