New Zealand Certificates in English Language (NZCEL)

Successful completion of NZCEL levels 3, 4 and 5 offers you an academic pathway to further study at EIT. You will also receive a nationally recognised certificate.

The New Zealand Certificates in English Language (NZCEL) programmes are designed to help students “Live the Language.” You will learn practical and academic English skills, how to communicate with people in a variety of familiar and unfamiliar contexts, work to widen vocabulary knowledge and gain confidence in using English whatever your level.

English Language Training Schemes (General English)

The English Language Training Schemes offer a flexible option for students who wish to study English but do not require a qualification. General English courses can be used for personal development; for example, to help you communicate better while you live in New Zealand or to help you get a better job. Students who choose to study General English can be at any level and will learn alongside NZCEL students.

IELTS Preparation Classes

IELTS Preparation Classes can be studied at the same time as the NZCEL Level 3 and Level 4 programmes.
