Phil lead the giants to many playoff victories and good seasons. Simms lead the giants to playoffs for the first time since 1964 he lead the Giants top there first super bowl win in 1986 as the beat the Denver broncos 39-29. Simms made a super bowl record which was most passes complete 22/24. he was named MVP and brought hope to giant fans because they did not do well in the 1970s. It was their first championship win since 1956.
