When we’re staring at what has been, it becomes hard for us to focus on what will be. Starting new has nothing to do with a date on the calendar from one year to the next. A new start begins with a new you! When you enter into a relationship with Christ, every bit of your old life is done away with. When we choose Christ we literally get to trade our old life for a brand new one. He says if you choose to live for

me you are choosing new life. 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV) says “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here”. Your new isn’t on its way, it has already arrived. We should look at everyday as a fresh start, new beginning, and new life in God. We become better with each passing day. Everything that he creates is simply constructed a l ready pre-packed wi th

purpose. During this new year don't equate “new” with the beginning of a calendar year. Rather, associate the word new with a fresh mindset, perspective, and opportunity to live an abundant life. Walk into this new year knowing that the life you’ve lived before cannot keep you from securing the life that God has placed in front of you. In him everything is made new, not renewed but NEW! Walk in your new life today.

want to see happen in 2014.

Speak your goals into existence! If you say it

daily, you will see it come to pass.

Take action & maximize on every opportunity to

act on your dreams.

Time  Management:  How  to  gain  the  time  back  you  lost  in  2013

"Time Management: How to gain the time back you lost in 2013"!

Wow, moving into 2014 with great excitement and anticipation for dreams to be fulfilled. But, wait there are so many things I did not get to complete in 2013. How do I gain that time back? Is it possible? We must review our past and present actions and future goals as a whole to determine necessary steps to complete projects in 2014.

The reality is the time that has past we can’t get back but we can learn lessons from the experience of time not used and how to redirect our energy in 2014 to complete tasks. It is a good time to reflect on how we use our time and determine where most of our time is spent.

How we implement time management in our life is a process that is learned over time and can be measured by each project that we embark on. It is always good after you complete a project to evaluate how you used your time in that process.

“Time management is the act or process of planning and exercising conscious control over the amount of time spent on specific activities, especially to increase effectiveness, efficiency or productivity.” (Wikipedia)

Steps for Time Management in 2014

1. Determine your goals for 2014 (What do you want to complete by December 2014?)

2. Map out your available time to completing each goal.

3. Create action steps for each goal. (Do you need to take anything off your plate to make room for your actions steps so that you can fulfill your goals for 2014?)

4. VERY IMPORTANT: You must now Execute!

Keep a journal that you can write in daily of what you need to complete. If you did not complete something the day before put that on the top of your list for the next day and start with that action step. The journal will help you to see areas in your life that are distractions and prevent you from being effective with completing projects.
