Community message from Cllr Ed Davie
Please look after West Norwood Park.
It's great that so many Julian’s families use the
park between the West Norwood site and the
Leisure Centre but sometimes it is left in a bit of
a mess.
Some children (including mine!) have been
dragging discarded furniture and builder's waste
from near the estate bins nearby to play with.
Not only is this dangerous but it’s also bad for
the environment.
I am requesting that you ask your children not to
play with the rubbish and you take your own
litter home with you when you've had your
snacks.
If you are

Park' group to

Summer Fair - One week to go!
Preparations are well under
way for next Saturday’s
summer fair. Thank you to
everyone who kindly
donated bottles and gifts
today for the tombola stand.
The school offices will accept any more
donations until Thursday next week (e.g.
unwanted new gifts / nail varnish / raffle prizes).
On the day of the fair we would be very grateful
to receive your donations of cakes and other
food (e.g. salads, cold meat dishes, pasta salads,
rice dishes, potato salads, rolls, baguettes etc).
It’s not too late to volunteer and get involved on
the day. Perhaps you could help with the setting
up, or running of a stall for some of the time or
helping to clear up. All offers are MOST welcome.
If you can give an hour or two of your time
please contact the PTFA at:
[email protected] or via the Julian’s
PTFA Facebook page:
