LEARNING HOW TO LEARN: THE LEARNING LAB

It is lonely at the top: Executives often find it challenging to find an eye-to-eye leadershipexchange. The LEARNING LAB is a not-for-profit community of practice for learningdirectors & general managers on organizational learning. We initiated the LEARNING LABtogether with our partner DirectHR.In an interactive peer sharing session, leading professionals across industries andorganizational sizes inspire each other. So far, 30 professionals joined the bi-annual eventtaking place in Shanghai, discussing topics such as blended learning, change managementand innovation, leaving with new ideas for projects and a strong network to count on.

MAKING INCLUSION WORK!Did you know that more diverse companies perform better economically? Organizationsare increasingly aware of the benefits, helping to drive innovation and engagement ofyounger generations in your organization.Since 2014, CONSTELLATIONS has been offering DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION programs inthe Chinese workplace. CAREER CENTER UP AND RUNNING! EMPOWERING TALENTSTo support future talents, DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) and HAW(Hamburg University of Applied Sciences) asked CONSTELLATIONS to advise on the set-upof the Sino-German Career Centre at USST (University of Shanghai for Science andTechnology). During this 3 years organizational development accompany project, weprovided: multi-stakeholder CO-CREATION WORKSHOPS with all players, service portfoliodevelopment advisory as well as one-on-one mentoring with the project manager, ShenLi. After 3 years, the Career Center can sustainably run on its own!

CITY-TO-CITY PEER LEARNING:Under the New Urban Agenda and the Paris Climate agreements, cities have beenacknowledged as key actors to contribute to the implementation of climate changecommitments at the local level. This requires increased coordination between the variouslevels of governance as well as sharing of best practices at the local level.CONSTELLATIONS has designed CITY-TO-CITY DIALOGUES on various occasions, often in aChina/ Europe context, and was invited to facilitate a regional workshop for UN-Habitatahead of the World Urban Forum in Kuala Lumpur.

We connect, enable and grow a community of urban actors between Chinaand Germany.A core element is the CITYMAKERS INCUBATOR, kicked-off in September 2017 with threefirst projects: 'Future of Living', 'City Culture & Identity' and 'Urban Farming'. Results willbe presented at the end of April in Berlin! CITYMAKERS also offers continuous analysisand mappings as well as a vibrant Facebook community. In 2018, CITYMAKERS will bejoining the Sino-German Urbanization Partnership Forum on World Cities Day in China.

GENIUS is an acronym for GermanEngineering Integrated for Urban Sustainability.

CONNECTING STARTUP CITIES: BRIDGING INNOVATION ECOSYSTEMS Europe’s startup capital Berlin is again hosting the Connecting Startup Cities Conference(CSC) at the Asia-Pacific Week 2018 (APW). The CSC offers a deep exploration ofGermany’s startup ecosystem. The CSC 2018 will focus on digitalization, the globalmegatrend of the 21st century that is dramatically impacting our lives. Tackling topics asthe 4th Industrial Revolution, Blockchain, Mobility, GreenTech, and AgriTech, the CSC is adeep dive into state-of-the-art innovation from a variety of verticals. On behalf of theBerlin Economic Senate, CONSTELLATIONS is pleased to invite entrepreneurs from Asia tothe conference and to exploring city's start-up innovation scene.
