REGISTRATION
You will need to register every year before the start of your programme of study, using MyCampus – the University's student information system. You will receive full details of how to log into MyCampus by email before the end of August.
The email will contain details of your Glasgow Unique ID (GUID), a temporary password and access to your student email. Once you have received this you should complete as much of registration as you can in advance of coming to Glasgow.
The steps are: 1. Check Email 2. Access MyCampus 3. Academic Registration (NOTE: You may start Enrolment any time after completing Step 3) 4. Financial Registration 5. Student Visa Registration (International Students Only) 6. Collect Campus Card
Student Visa Registration (International Students Only) When you arrive on campus you must present your passport and a valid visa, or evidence of making an in-time visa application. If you used the 2HE499 ACL code in your visa application, you will be able to collect a Biometric Residence Permit from the University, otherwise you need to visit a Post Office. Find out more at glasgow.ac.uk/tier4
Campus Cards Your Campus Card grants you access to University facilities such as the library and sports facilities, and will entitle you to student discounts in a wide variety of shops, bars, cinemas and online. Your Campus Card will be available for collection once you are fully registered.

Registration is the process of registering academically AND financially with the University. To become a fully registered student of the University, you must register online.
There's a range of information and online support to help you register.

ENROLMENTEnrolment is the process for selecting courses for the year and building your timetable in line with your Programme requirements. Most students will enrol using MyCampus Self Service.
You will only be able to enrol on courses once you have completed academic registration. You also need to enrol every year prior to the start of study.
MyCampus provides guidance on the compulsory, recommended and optional courses available to you as you go through the enrolment process.
Meanwhile, guidance videos about your degree structure and subject choices for your programme of study are available at glasgow.ac.uk/degreestructure
Once complete, you will have a Year 1 plan for your programme of study, made up of a timetable of classes for each subject.
Please complete as much of enrolment as you can before coming to Glasgow. However, help will be available when you arrive, from the Registration & Enrolment Support Team and your College / School Adviser of Studies or Advising Team.

GLASGOW: YOUR NEW HOMEWith a wealth of cultural attractions, impressive architecture, fantastic shopping and a year-round programme of world-class events, Glasgow is one of the world’s top student destinations, and has loads to offer you.
Getting around It’s easy to travel around Glasgow, whether you choose to walk, take the bus or use the subway. Our subway system connects our main campus in the West End to the city centre in under 10 minutes.
Shopping It’s no surprise that Glasgow is consistently voted the top place to shop in the UK outside London. The city’s retail centre has a ‘style mile’ containing big-name shops as well as designer outlets and quirky vintage boutiques.
Sports Our sports facilities have never been better; from the Chris Hoy Velodrome and national football stadium Hampden Park, to an indoor snowboard and ski slope and ice arena, you’ll be spoilt for choice.
Parks Glasgow, the “Dear Green Place”, as translated from Gaelic, has more than 90 parks and public gardens. Plenty of options to take your study materials or a good book outside!
Culture For culture vultures, the city is home to more than 20 world-class museums and art galleries, and is proud to have Europe’s largest civic arts collection available to view free-of-charge in venues around the city.
Eating out The city’s fantastic range of restaurants and cafés reflects its diverse population. Whether you’re after an amazing Asian kitchen or a scoop of the creamiest Italian ice cream, Glasgow won’t disappoint. Many eateries offer student discounts too.
Nightlife From catching global superstars at the 13,000 capacity SSE Hydro, to local indie bands at legendary King Tut’s, Glasgow caters for all music tastes. Glasgow’s nightlife is unrivalled, with the city boasting more than 700 bars, pubs and nightclubs and seven cinemas. There’s also an impressive mix of theatres and comedy clubs.
