Entry Requirements
• 112 tariff points/grades BBC from A level studies
• Foundation Diploma - grade Merit
• Pearson Extended Diploma - Distinction, Merit, Merit (DMM)
• UAL Extended Diploma - Merit
• Access to HE in Art & Design – minimum 96 tariff points and 45 credits at level 3
• GCSE English Language at grade C / level 4 or an acceptable equivalent
• Students studying in Europe or Internationally will find further information on our website.
• A portfolio of work which demonstrates your interests and ability in art and design

Interview Process

After you submit your UCAS application, selected programmes may require you to submit images and/or a supporting statement. The images/text must be submitted online (MyWork). Submission dates will be sent to you by post. The College will assess all online submissions in 3-5 days of receipt and make decisions as to which applicants will progress to the interview stage.
If you do not submit your images/text by the specified deadline the College will assume that you no longer wish to be considered for the programme and your application will be withdrawn. If you are not sent a letter asking you to submit work then you will progress direct to the interview stage (subject to eligibility).
Interview Preparation

• Interviews will take place during the Spring term. from the beginning of February to 31 March.
• If you have completed ‘dates not available’ on the
application form we will endeavour to accommodate your request.
• You will normally receive 5-10 days notice of your
interview date via UCAS TRACK and be able to confirm that you wish to accept our invitation.

It is important that: • If you change your email address or mobile
number you let UCAS know. • You expand any text messages from UCAS in full
and follow the links to our website advice.
Interview Outcomes

For applications received by 15 January the outcome of your interview will, in general, be posted on UCAS TRACK by the end of March. The outcome will be one of the following: • an unconditional offer • a conditional offer • unsuccessful
Conditions are normally based on achieving • the relevant Level 3 qualification(s) • the relevant English language level
Confirming Your Decision

• You can follow the progress of your application through TRACK on UCAS
• As soon as you have received decisions from all your choices you can confirm your decision.
• The UCAS Decline by Default date is 4 May for offers made by 31 March • An important message for students: if you
don’t reply to your offers in Track on or before your reply date, UCAS will decline them on your behalf. This means you will lose all your offers.
