Motorsports is in its genesNew Renault MEGANE R.S. is an impressive car. A car built to arouse your driving instincts with wings extended by up to 60 mm, and special bumpers featuring a F1 style front blade at the front and a wide diffuser at the rear. Sitting squarely on its 18- or 19-inch wheels*, the front end features full LED lights with the additional multi-reflector R.S. Vision system. It includes a central exhaust exit, side extractor vents and a wide lip spoiler with exclusive Volcanic Orange* body colour.

New Renault MEGANE R.S. benefits from the know-how of Renault Sport in adapting motorsports technologies to production sports vehicles. It features a range of driving aids for any type of road and any situation.

1. Suspension with hydraulic compression stops: With the addition of hydraulic compression stops, the shock absorbers absorb impact better. This technology delivers spectacular results in terms of progressive control, comfort and performance.

2. New Torsen® limited slip differential*: associated with the Cup chassis, it has an asymmetrical transfer rate for acceleration and deceleration to improve acceleration power and cornering speed.

Agility and Stability4CONTROL 4-wheel steering system contributes to incisive steering and optimised roadholding for a precise, surefooted drive. At low speeds, the system turns the rear wheels in the opposite direction to the front wheels. At speeds of over 37 mph (62 mph in Race mode specially designed for the track), all four wheels turn in the same direction. You are in control of the road.

Display, analyse and share your performanceYour driving talents deserve to be recognised, stored and analysed! The onboard telemetry system R.S. Monitor* displays your driving settings in real time on the R-LINK2 screen.In addition, the new R.S. Monitor Expert* mode allows you to use a camera to record your exploits on the track, associate them with the R.S. Increased safetyDrive with peace of mind! Renault Mégane R.S. is equipped with several driving assistance systems. Using intuitive and intelligent technologies, they support you on all your journeys, giving you day-to-day peace of mind. All of these safety aids are avaliable as part of our option packs. You should not rely on driver convenience features. Some features may not work in all conditions and circumstances.

Traffic sign recognitionThere are more and more road signs. It's not easy to catch every sign; let the camera handle it for you. If you exceed the authorised speed limit, a warning appears on the dashboard. All you have to do is adapt your driving.

Hands free parkingParallel parking with a flick of the wrist! Hands free parking helps you to identify the parking space configuration (parallel, diagonal or perpendicular), measures the available space and handles the manoeuvre. All you have to do is control the accelerator, brakes and gears. A genuine co-pilot by your side!

Adaptive cruise controlEasily maintain the appropriate safe following distance between you and the vehicle in front. In order to adapt your speed, the adaptive cruise control is activated at between 31 mph and 87 mph. The system acts on the brakes when the distance is too short and on the accelerator when the road is clear again.

Blind spot warningExpand your vision! New Renault Mégane R.S. is equipped with a system which detects the presence of any vehicle in the zone that your wing mirrors do not allow you to see. Active between 19 mph and 87 mph, the system alerts you straight away with a warning light.

Active emergency braking system:This system alerts the driver if there is a risk of collision with the vehicle in front. If the driver reacts insufficiently or not at all, the brakes are activated to prevent or mitigate a collision.

Lane departure warning:This system detects the lane in front of the vehicle with a camera and warns the driver audibly if they drift into another lane .

Safe distance warning:This system warns the driver about potential collision with another vehicle in front, if the distance between the vehicles is not safe.

More feel

The new Recaro seats* allow the driver’s position to be lowered up to 20 mm. The position of the rigid bucket squab can be finely adjusted and the Alcantara* upholstery contributes to giving perfect support under driving conditions.

More sensation

The new dual sound exhaust valve system contributes to maximizing engine performance. A valve system – activated automatically depending on the driving mode selected via the Multi-Sense – offers a double sound. The position of the valve, controlled by the Multi-Sense mode, the engine speed and load, provides two tones: when opened, the valve causes reduced flow resistance, enabling the gases to be routed along a more direct path. This allows the engine’s sporty and acoustic potential to be fully expressed.

More precision

New Renault MEGANE R.S. 300 TROPHY benefits from all the innovations introduced with MEGANE R.S. 280, such as the 4CONTROL four-wheel steering system. Featuring the Cup Chassis as standard boasts stiffer suspension and a Torsen mechanical limited slip differential, enabling better cornering and traction. As for the brakes, the bi-material discs provide better endurance and the Brembo brake calipers guarantee optimum braking performance.

More grip

New Renault MEGANE R.S. 300 TROPHY is now equipped with the JEREZ 19” triple tone alloy wheels and offers more grip and responsiveness on the road.
