Indian Railways is the lifeline of the nation and catalyst for India's

progress and economic development. Railway has been providing

comfortable, convenient and easy on the pocket transportation system

to its patrons. Major infrastructure projects in Railways has focus on

safety, enhancing speed and connecting far flung areas. New tracks are

being laid. Line doubling and electrification works are in full swing.

Latest technologies, digitalization and in house innovations are being

used to bring more efficiency and better results. Emphasis is also on

creating better business opportunities through long haul and piecemeal

trains.

The officers and staff of the Railways are dedicated, ready to adapt to

changing scenario of the transport sector, this booklet is aimed towards

listing some of the important activities involving in the recent past as

well as current projects in Rohtak. The budgets allocated to various

projects are not apportioned State wise but reflect the cost of the project.

v 2 Lane Road Over Bridge (ROB) in lieu of Level Crossing No. 31C near Asauda an Delhi Bhatinda Line.

v Underpass at Double fatak Rohtak Railway station on Delhi Bathinda Line.

v Improvement of circulating area and development of green patch at Rohtak Railway station.

v Construction of under pass near double phatak at Rohtâk Railway station.

v Construction of Road Over Bridge (ROB) at Level Crossing No. 79B near Lakan Majra on Gohana-Meham road.

v Construction of underpass at unmanned Level Crossing 10 and 17 on Rohtak Panipat Line.

v Manning of Unmanned Level Crossing nos. 9 and 33 on Rohtak Panipat Line.

v Construction of 3 underpass at km 33.43 Makrauli chandpur road, 42.21 Barra village and 45.56 Jhajjar Talab Road on Rohtak Rewari route.

v Construction of Limited Height Subway (LHS) sub-way as under on Asthal Bohar-Rewari line,Machhol-Chandpur, Baüra Village, Jhajjar - Talao Road.

v Shifting of Level Crossing Gate no. 48 from station yard at Kharwar.

v Construction of Road Over Bridge (ROB) at Level Crossing no.79 Lakhan Majra on Delhi Bathinda route.

v Construction of Road Over Bridge (ROB) on Level crossing 31 & 38.

v 20 No. benches kept at Makrauli and Samargopalpur.

v Construction of Manned Level Crossing No. 09 near Makroli station.

v Improvement of circulating area and platform surface at Bahadurgarh, Asaudah and Sampla, Kharawad, Rodh Nagar, Samar Gopalpur & Kharanti stations on Delhi Bathinda route.

v Improvement of urinals and toilets at Bahadurgarh and Sampla Railway stations.

v Provision of Coach Guidance Display Boards and Train information Display Boards at Rohtak Railway Station

v Provision of mini Platform shelters at Makrauli and Jasia stationson Rohtak Panipat Line, Provision of Lenches 6 nos each at

v INTRODUCTION OF NEW TRAINS : Train no- 12439/12440 (Shri Ganganagar - H Sahib Nanded Express) having Stoppages at NDLS, ROK, JIND, JHL Weekly started w.e.f. 31.05.2019.

v 05 New trains have been introduced during last 5 years in Rohtak Constituency.

v Construction of new Rly Line between Rohtak - Hansi (65 Kms)

v Provision of 2.44 m wide Foot Over Bridge line par Basti to PF no.2/3 and at 1 Bahadurgarh section .
