An international supermarket featuring 2,500 new products from aroundthe world was one of the major attractions in Toronto at the World NewProducts Conference in October.
It was one of the largest exhibitionsof new supermarket world productsever assembled and featured productsfrom West Germany, France, Britain,Japan, Hong Kong, Australia, Braziland other countries.
One thousand of the 75,000 biggestsuccesses and failures in new productsin North America over the past 15 yearswas also on display.
Speakers included Dr. HenryKissinger on geopolitical trendsbusinessmen must face in a shrinkingworld, Alvin Toffler, who has developed a unique analysis of the humanfactors which determine whether yourcareer is poised to ride the Third Wave,and Mike Vance, ex-Dean of WaIt Disney Creative College, who offeredthoughts on how innovative marketerscan keep emerging consumer trends infocus.

Since the International Wheat GlutenAssociation (IWGA) was chartered in1979 by 11 companies that manufacturewheat gluten in Australia, Canada, andthe United States, the IWGA has grownto 16 members in eight countries. ThePrimary objective was then, andremains today, to promote the commoninterest of its members and the generalwelfare of the wheat gluten industry onan international front.
