ne bright dalmation, Spotty,

learned his way around an

electronic pet fence system by

wearing down the battery in

his collar. Day after day, while standing

in the Warning Field, he would listen to

the audible alert until the battery wore

down. With the power out, he was free

to chase his squirrel friends well beyond

the bounds of the fence.

So we developed…

Smart Zone®

This feature gives a correction to any

pet remaining in the established zone

beyond a few seconds – thus preserving

the life of the battery and the integrity

of the fence.

Many collars are designed with an

antenna that picks up the signal only

when dangling under the dog’s neck.

An astute terrier, Ruggar, soon learned

that sliding the receiver around to the

side of his neck and holding his head

upright caused the system to fail every

time. With the collar askew and head

held high, he could come and go as he

pleased.

So we developed…

TriScann® Omni-Directional Antenna

This feature ensures that the receiver

always detects the signal, no matter

what position the receiver is in.

Roscoe, a clever spaniel in Missouri,

learned to stand with the collar very

near the magnetic catch on his doggy

door. This would change the settings of

the receiver and render it too weak to

work properly. He was at large for a day

and a half before being apprehended by

the proper authorities – his distraught

owners.

So we developed…

Electronic Switching

The programming inside the Series 2

Receiver was designed with no magnetic

switches. So it is never affected by

magnetic fields.

perfect marriage of product technology and the latest soft touch training
