We are very excited to announce the opening of Tooth Town Pediatric Dentistry, PLLC, in the fall of 2011 in South Lyon, Michigan. Dr. Stephen M. Ghezzi and his family have lived in the area for the past six years. He and his wife, Elisa,

both received their dental degrees from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Dr. Steve (children find this easier to remember) grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan as one of seven children and also spent several years during high school and college in Florida. When he is not busy at work, he enjoys spending time with Elisa and their five children. Several of his children are involved in South Lyon recreational sports, so you will frequently find the Ghezzi family at local ballparks and football fields. Dr. Steve is grateful for the opportunity to serve the children of South Lyon and the surrounding areas and looks forward to our opening in the fall.

What is a Pediatric Dentist?As a pediatric dentist, Dr. Ghezzi focuses on the oral health and development of children from infancy to late adolescence. After four years of dental school, he completed two additional years of rigorous study and hands-on training that prepared him to meet the unique dental needs of infants, children, and adolescents, including persons with special health care needs. His training included an extensive study of growth and development, child and adolescent psychology, caries prevention, nutrition, behavior management techniques, advanced restorative care, pediatric oral pathology, hospital dentistry, and the management of special needs and medically compromised children.
