EUR Skorpio-80 is a remote control, self-propelled emptying equipment for grain fl oor stores. It is electrically powered and has an operating width of 4 m. It consists of an elevator with two side conveyors. These side conveyors are chains with carriers that draw the grain into the elevator. The elevator lifts the grain up to a zig-zag conveyor. The zig-zag conveyor ensures that the unloading point does not move out of position even if the emptying equipment moves around the stored grain.

Perstrup Beton Industri A/S - Stand No. K-8000

Perstrup Grain Trench-Traffi c is a further development of the Perstrup Grain Trench. It is fi tted with a drive-on grid that can withstand loads of up to 10 tons axle pressure. The support beams are pointed so that the grain does not adhere to the beams.

Gartner-Kemi A/S, COntan2 - Stand No. D-3320

Zon scare canon, type MT08, with electronic control is designed for fright-ening birds and other fauna away from fi eld crops, fruit orchards and fore-stry areas and from outdoor pig units, fi sh farms and airports. The canon is gas operated. It can be set to fi re at various intervals and for repetition of up to four shots. Radio remote control is available as extra equipment.

PC Stål ApS - Stand No. G-4630

PC Stål ApS Pellet chipper, type PC760-P, is a smaller version of the well-known wood chippers and pellet chippers. The machine can be fi tted with various types of feeder equipment and revolution guards which stop feeding in the event of overload risk.

Big Dutchman (Skandinavien) A/S - Stand No. J3-7706

BDS drum cleaner for sand and larger particles is applied for cleaning grain prior to milling. The cleaner consists of two cylindrical screens which respectively separate larger particles and sand. The cleaner has a compact construction and ensures smooth operation without vibration and reduces dust formation in comparison to former models. The drum cleaners are manufactured by the company.

BDS upper mixing containers are applied in connection with BDS dry

mixers with a capacity of 2,000 litres. The purpose of the upper container is to increase the mixing capacity in that the raw goods are weighed and ground in the upper container whilst the actual mixing is processed in the dry mixer. The upper mixing container is designed as a funnel throughout the entire length of the container. There is a plate at the bottom of the fun-nel which can be opened via a pneumatic cylinder. The contents of the upper mixing container are thus quickly emptied. The upper mixing con-tainer is positioned on a frame with weighing cells. This new upper mixing container is manufactured by the company.

DustBuster Easy is a modern version of the former DustBuster fi lter. The fi lter is applied in connection with the grinding of feed in order to ensure dust-free grinding and cooling of the milled feed. The fi lter consists of a fi lter casing which contains a fi lter bag. A fan is positioned at the top of the fi lter casing which sucks the dusty air up through the fi lter bag. Every thirty seconds a portion of air is released under high pressure from a pres-sure tank on the side of the fi lter casing. This air releases the collated dust particles from the fi lter bag which then fall down into the lower he-lical conveyor that transports the milled feed. DustBuster Easy has been improved in that the dust bag can easily and quickly be replaced via the removal of four bolts and a snap lock at one side of the fi lter casing. The DustBuster Easy fi lter is manufactured by the company.

EUR MBM is a newly-developed bridge mill for the grinding of feed. The drop shaped design of the mill eases the passage of the whole/ground grain to and from the mill. The grinding bridge and the screen can be replaced in the event of wear or if the grinding degree is to be altered. The rotor in the mill is shaped so that it both draws in the air via the raw goods intake and ventilates the air out through the screen. This increases the grinding capacity and reduces heat development in the ground feed and thus reduces the risk of bridging and mould formation. The grinding capacity for fi ne meal is increased by factor 3, the fl ails last three to four times as long and the durability of the screen is increased by 100 percent. All in all, this means that grinding process power requirements are reduced by 50 percent in comparison with existing machines on the current market. The MBM bridge mill is manufactured by the company.

GMC.EU ApS - Stand No. D-3304

GMC.EU newly-developed distributor for buffer silos for the purpose of ensuring maximum fi lling. The distributor consists of a fi xed plate with four rotating wings which, via a gear, is driven by an electric motor which is installed on the side of the buffer silo. The distributor is installed on two side members and the positioning can be adjusted so that it fi ts directly under the outlet from the actual conveyor system. The speed of the wings can be regulated to suit the actual density and hardness of the raw goods. The GMC.EU distributor for buffer silos is manufactured by the company.

Tunetanken A/S - Stand No. M-9754

Tunetanken CDS tank with a conical base for the storage of a residual product from bio-ethanol production which is applied for cattle feed. The tank is constructed of fi breglass and has a 62.5 degree, conical base. A spiral pump is fi tted in the base of the conical unit. This is applied for agitating the contents of the tank to avoid sediment formation and for the pumping of the residual product to the feed mixer. The agitating and pumping processes are controlled by an electronic regulatory unit. For dosage of the feed to the complete feed mixer, the pump can be operated via remote control from the tractor that pulls the complete feed mixer. The Tunetanken CDS tank is manufactured by the company.

Agro X ApS - Stand No. M-9608

One2Feed coarse fodder magazine with cutter and dosage unit is a ho-rizontal distributor table for coarse fodder for the automatic fi lling of the company’s overhead suspension, automatic complete feed truck. The distributor table can handle both silage blocks and loose silage.The sides can be folded down so that the magazine can be fi lled from sides and end. The magazine is eqipped with a so-called walking fl oor of aluminium profi les as known from the transport sector. At the end of the magazine a combined cutter and dosage unit is installed. This consists of a number of drive belts with transverse cutter holders. The shredding of the silage blocks occurs in connection with the dosage phase so that the feed in the magazine is not oxidized or mixed together.

Calvex A/S - Stand No. J2-7302

EUR ColoQuick Pasteur heat treatment for the pasteurization of raw milk (colo-strum) from dairy cows. The system consists of a water bath with a holder in which a cassette is placed with a portion of frozen raw milk. The cas-sette is designed to ensure the greatest possible surface area. The cas-sette with the raw milk is also subjected to rotation. This rotation and the large surface area ensure that an even and uniform heating of the raw milk is attained. The actual heating is accurately controlled in relation to time and temperature so that the raw milk is pasteurized without damaging the antibodies and the consistency of the milk.

Vivet - Stand No. K-8108

Urban Milkshuttle is an on-farm system for the low and high pasteuriza-tion of milk for calves.The system, which is available in stationary and mobile versions, can be applied for the storage, cooling, heating and dis-pensing of the milk. Heating is effectuated by heating plates in the base of the container. Cooling is effectuated by a cooling spiral connected to cold water or via an actual cooling system. During the heating or cooling

stages, the milk is stirred and circulated to ensure an even treatment. The system is equipped for computer control of temperature and time, plus automatic cleaning of the pump and circulation pump with cleaning agents.

ACO Funki A/S - Stand No. J1-7114

Roto automatic dry feeders for piglets and porkers have now been impro-ved in a number of areas. The trough now has a new design that ensures smooth distribution of the feed and rotating fi ngers have been installed to make dosage easier for piglets. In addition, the adjustment handle is now easier to operate and the upper and lower sections of the feed container can now be clicked together thus improving hygiene.

Agrisys ApS - Stand No. J1-7112

Agrisys-Nedap Velos 2.0 is newly-developed software for transponder systems. The system is built up with a central main control and decentral controls at each feeding point. In the event of a system breakdown, in which the connections between the main control and the decentral con-trols are lost, the decentral controls change over to a safety mode during which all sows are supplied with a standard feed ration until the connec-tion is re-established. The controls can now be accessed via a cryptic link on internet from a mobile telephone or PDA. Via a quick entry function in the control, sow information, feed rations, treatment, separation, etc., can be carried out quickly and easily. The Velos 2.0 software is produced by Nedap Agri in Holland and the Danish dealer is Agrisys ApS.


EUR BDS Intelligent valve system, eating time control, type P700 process pro-gram is a newly-developed method for measuring feeding speed and for the follow-up regulation of feed quantity at the next feeding period. The system consists of a sensor that is installed in the trough. The sensor registers how fast the pigs consume the feed. If the pigs feed faster or slower than the preset reference time, the feed quantity is automatically increased/decreased for the ensuing period. Current automatic systems on the market require the installation of an additional valve card plus cable systems. The alternative is to manually register feeding speed and manual regulation of feed quantities. The BDS Intelligent valve system is produced by the company.

Egebjerg International A/S - Stand No. M-9600

This single drinker with nipple valve for suckling pigs is a newly-developed single drinker for installation in connection with the Egebjerg integrated climate box INN-O-CORNER in farrowing pens. The single drinker con-

sists of a valve bar on which the nipple valve is fi tted and a plastic rail that protects the 8 mm PE water supply tubing. Installation only requires three bolts. This drinker is manufactured by the company.

Hyo-Nord - Stand No. M-9800

HQ-Hyo Flex Dosers, type 45 g and type Strait, are dosage units which are applied for the dosage of small amounts of powder ingredients for on-farm mixing of feeds. The dosage units consist of an ingredient con-tainer with a mixer ring which prevents bridging plus a dosage helical. The dosage unit can either be positioned at fl oor level or above the feed mixer. Dosage is controlled via electronic speed regulation of the dosage helical in the range 1-250 grams per minute. By changing over to pulse control the dosage can be reduced. The dosage unit and the helical are constructed of stainless steel. The HQ-Hyo Flex Doser is manufactured in cooperation with Waterschoot Hq-Line in Belgium.

KJ Klimateknik A/S - Stand No. K-8304

Klima Design Multi-phase control is a newly-developed control for phase feeding with the aid of dry feeding systems in pig pens. The control is ap-plied for single line, phase feeding systems. The control can operate up to four different feed mixes with gradual changeover between the individual mixes. The desired mix is keyed in for each automatic feeder and the mix is then dosed in the feed line with the aid of a motor driven loading point. Each automatic feeder is equipped with an electrically controlled slide which is opened when a sensor in the automatic feeder is exposed and closed when this is covered or when feed mixes are to pass to other auto-matic feeders. The Multi-phase control is manufactured by Klima Design A/S and the Danish dealer is KJ Klimateknik A/S.

Feed preparation, feeders and drinkers - horses

OK Plast - Stand No. J1-7204

Quality Line, type OK No. 499, hay rack for horses is primarily intended for application when peat moss, sawdust, etc. is applied as litter in order to avoid mixing the hay with litter materials. The hay rack is positioned on the stall fl oor. The 200 litre container is constructed from an unbreakable material without corners or sharp edges.

Ventilation, air purifi cation, housing climate, heating, alarms

MHJ Agroteknik A/S - Stand No. K-8006

MHJ Air Purifi er, type Imission Control 2010, is a newly-developed control for a chemical/biological air purifi er for the ventilation of livestock hou-sing. The control regulates the purifi cation process on the basis of the PH-value in the purifi cation fl uid, the addition of water in accordance with

purifi cation fl uid level plus the tapping of fertilizer fl uid via measurement of conductivity. The control logs all data including consumption of acid, water, production of fertilizer fl uid and other process data. The control is equipped with a communication module, an alarm module and GPS which facilitate remote supervision and service plus online documentation for the relevant authorities. Imission Control 2010 is produced by Inno + B.V., Maasbree, Holland and the Danish dealer is MHJ Agroteknik A/S.

MT Højgaard a/s - Stand No. L-9226

EUR MT Højgaard’s Integrated Air Exchange System©, for air purifi cation in cowsheds is a stall fl oor concept. All gangway areas are equipped with slotted fl ooring and deep slurry channels. Alongside each slurry channel there are 2 moulded air channels: 1 intake channel and 1 emission chan-nel. The system thus ventilates the slurry channels below the slotted fl oo-ring without affecting other ventilation in the cowshed. This ventilation of the slurry channels prevents the ammonia in the slurry from evaporating in the livestock areas. Instead this is lead off to an air purifi er where the am-monia is leached and bonded to the water.

Rotor A/S - Stand No. K-8202

Air purifi cation module for biological purifi cation of air which is applied for the reduction of emissions of odour and ammonia from pig houses. The air purifi cation module consists of a fi lter block produced from plastic lattice grids which is sprayed with water. The water is re-circulated from a sump under the fi lter block. When the conductivity in the water rises above a specifi c level, the fouled water is discharged to the slurry chan-nel and fresh water is supplied to the module. Bacteria is formed on the surfaces of the fi lter block which degrades odour particles whilst the am-monia is leached in the water. This air purifi cation module is produced in Holland by Dorset Milieutechniek B.V. and the Danish dealer is Rotor A/S.

MSB Odour reduction system. This consists of a high pressure cooling unit with an addition of 5-10% lactic acid culture (Biosa Air). The effect of applying this system is attained from the cooling which reduces air re-placement, the bonding of the ammonia and the reduction of the volatile odour particles. The high pressure cooling unit is manufactured by the company and the lactic acid culture is produced by Biosa.

Skov A/S - Stand No. K-8212

EUR Super low-energy fan for positioning in the ventilation system’s exhaust units. This is a newly developed ventilation unit which provides power savings of 40% in comparison with low-energy fans existing on the cur-rent market. The power saving is attained from the construction of a new wing with an optimum aerodynamic design, the introduction of a new power effi cient motor technology, PM motors (permanent magnetized) and the development of a new control. In addition to the power savings,

this new fan is more reliable when subjected to pressure and is thus less perceptible to wind than frequency regulated fans. The new fan is manu-factured by the company.

VengSystem - Stand No. M-9502

VengSystem PC Water is newly-developed software for the management of dust control with the aid of high-pressure atomization of water. This software is applied to regulate when and how often the water is to be ato-mized so that farm personnel are subjected to the lowest possible level of dust. The PC Water software is produced by the company.

EUR VengSystem Intelligent Covering is applied for the regulation of heat supply in piglet pens with climate creep areas. The system consists of an infra-red temperature sensor which is positioned under the coverings in several pens, a radiation heat unit for heat supply and a control unit for the regulation of the height of the creep area coverings. The function in-volves the height of the opening to the creep area being reduced at night when the piglets are sleeping and thus do not emit so much heat. This reduces the requirement for supplementary heat. When the piglets are awake, the temperature in the creep area increases and the cover opening height is increased so that the temperature falls. For inspection purposes, the coverings can be automatically raised to a pre-set height for full sur-veillance of all the piglets. This height regulation and heat supply via the radiation heat unit can reduce power requirements for heating by up to 90 percent. Intelligent Covering is manufactured by the company.

Milking

Calvex A/S - Stand No. J2-7302

SepLink combines milking robots from DeLaval and Lely with the Calvex pasteurizing MilkTaxi. In many cowhouses with milking robots the milk is pumped directly from the robots to the Milk Taxi in the calf kitchen. SepLink is a buffer tank which is applied to collect the milk during periods in which the Milk Taxi is applied for feeding the calves. When the Milk Taxi is back in position, the system’s reset button is pressed and the milk is once again pumped over to the Milk Taxi. Con-trol and changeovers between SepLink and the Milk Taxi is operated automatically via a timer.

CellKim ApS - Stand No. M-9508

DK Hormonost Easy Milk for cattle farmers is a gestation tester based on progesterone readings in milk samples. The test can be read manually and with the aid of a Microlab (photometer). The progesterone in the milk is bonded with the aid of a reagent to plastic glass. The excess material is rinsed off, a colour reagent is added and a blue colour appears. The

colour intensity indicates the progesterone level in the milk. This tester is capable of indicating gestation 20 days after insemination.

CN-Maskinfabrik A/S - Stand No. H-6122

EUR CN-klovren for cows in loose housing systems is a hoof cleaner for posi-tioning in the return passage in the milking house. The hoof cleaner com-bines jets with water plus eventual additives with soft rotating brushes. It consists of a frame with a galvanized iron grid with 2 rotating brushes. When the cows cross the grid the cleaning system is activated by a photo cell. The hooves are rinsed by the jets whilst the brushes clean the hooves from below. The operating time can be adjusted via a timer unit in accor-dance with requirements.

Erri Comfort A/S - Danish Genetics A/S - Stand No. L-9006

Dairy Tech® Pasteurizer is a pasteurizer machine for raw milk, milk and cell count milk for calves. The machine consists of a double insulated ves-sel equipped with a spiral fi lled with water which is applied for both heat-ing and cooling of the milk. Pasteurization is controlled by both time and temperature: Raw milk 60º C for 60 minutes - so that the antibodies in the milk are not destroyed. Milk or cell count milk are treated at 63º C for 30 minutes. The milk is automatically stirred during the heating process.

Klovplejeboksen.dk - Stand No. M-9810

Bovigate Welfare box for the fully-automatic cleaning of hooves after to milking and a subsequent treatment with a hoof care agent. The box is equipped with a number of jets which clean the hooves with water plus eventual added soap and then treat the hooves with a hoof care agent. The box is positioned in the return passage in the milking room and is equipped with automatic gates. These gates are controlled via photo cells and ensure that the cow stands calmly during the treatment and is not disturbed by other cows. The outer width of the box is 90 cm and it can therefore be installed in the majority of existing milking parlours.

Lars H. Grotrian A/S - Stand No. M-9734

Lagrotek Handy fl oor is a modular construction raise/lower fl ooring for milking parlours. The fl ooring is constructed for installation to the walls in the milking trench/milking passage. There is thus no requirement for installation to the concrete fl ooring. The raise/lower fl ooring is suspended by chains connected to a hydraulically drawn traction rod.

Lely Scandinavia A/S - Stand No. M-9720

Lely Astronaut A3 Next is a single box milking robot for the automatic milking of cows. During the milking process, the robot registers milk fl ow, conductivity, colour composition, temperature, etc., plus provides feed concentrates to the cow. The milking station is mounted on 4 weighing cells which, in addition to registering the weight of the cow, also registers

the cow’s position in the box to ensure that the milking set is always in the optimum position. The milk separator also has weight suspension to en-sure the precise measurement of milk yield. The MQC (Milk Quality Con-trol) unit is moved down on the robot arm so that registration of eventual changes in the milk takes place at the earliest possible stage. The system for collection of the milk is located away from the automatic milking unit and can be located in another position in the robot milking parlour. Finally, the system is equipped with a completely new management program with new graphic presentation of various key fi gures.

Mosegården A/S - Stand No. J3-7802

DK Multilyser gestation tester is an automatic analysis unit for the determi-nation of the progesterone content in fresh milk. The tester is applied for gestation determination from 19-20 days after insemination. Negative gestation is determined with 100% accuracy and positive gestation is de-termined with an accuracy of 80%.

SAC - Stand No. M-9732

SAC Touch Screen milking parlour with IDC is a management system for application in all types of milking parlours.

SAC RDS Futureline Mark II, extra equipment for the company’s milking robots. IMC (Intelligent Milk Collection) can handle the collection of milk in pails, milk trucks or cooling tanks. The system is fl exible and can handle milk from several units and in many different combinations. The buffer tank system ensures continuous milking in connection with milk collection and rinsing of the cooling tank. The buffer tank is normally positioned in connection with the cooling tank and is raised on legs so that the milk is drawn off from the buffer tank to the cooling tank without pump require-ment. This involves a new buffer tank design and new design of rinsing jets and tank lids.

SDS (Steam and Disinfection System) is a system for the cleaning of teat cups between 2 milking operations and is based on steam and disinfec-tion. Teat cup cleaning between milking operations takes place at 110º C.

SAC centre mounted milking Swing Over with IDC is a centre mounted milking set for installation in 60º and side-by-side milking parlours. The milking set is equipped with SAC QuickStart and IDC milk recorder.

SAC milk recorder IDC T Rail for rail systems. This product integrates SAC IDC milk recorders with the rail system. The recorder is available with single or double installation plus QuickStart.

SAC external cow carousel is a newly developed carousel equipped with an IDC milk recorder and QuickStart. The tubes are drawn through the platform to reduce the total length and to ensure a more gentle treatment of the milk. The milking sets are equipped with a new height adjustable

tube holder and newly developed wash fi ttings which can be folded away during milking so that they are not in the way of the milker.

Strangko A/S - Stand No. M-9674

Strangko Handy Wash is a newly developed automatic wash unit that fa-cilitates start and pre-rinsing at a predetermined time so that the system is ready when the milker wishes to start. The system has also integrated prop wash for the cleaning of large pipe diameters of up to 4".

Jørgen Hyldgård Staldservice A/S - Stand No. K-8114

EUR JHminiStrø - Sand is a newly developed system for the automatic sprea-ding of sand in cubicles. The system is computer controlled and instal-led on overhead rails. JHministrø - Sand is a further development of the company’s automatic spreading machines for cattle and pig units. The system also has a newly developed tip for sand so that sand can be automatically spread in up to 1,000 cubicles. The truck is equipped with 2 belts: One belt for the control of sand supply and one transverse belt that can distribute sand at both sides. The truck is equipped with "memory" so that it can remember where it arrived empty and, following refi lling, can return to the required position.

Dung clearance, treatment and storage of manure/slurry

Højgaards Maskinfabrik ApS - Stand No. J2-7310

Sepcom slurry separator is a screw press for the separation of dry mat-ter without requiring chemical additives. The helical screw is modular and constructed of a polymer material. A self-regulating counter pressure membrane ensures stable separation even under varying operational con-ditions. The Sepcom slurry separator is manufactured by WAMGROUP in Italy and the Danish dealer is Højgaards Maskinfabrik ApS.

Mullerup A/S, Skiold - Stand No. M-9746

Manumatic is a newly developed drive station for dung clearance in cattle and pig housing. The drive station is installed on a frame which is fi tted with two drive motors and specially developed belt discs that ensure op-timum tightening of the wire and minimum wear and tear in that the wire has a minimum of contact with the fl ooring or sharp corners. This wire tension also prevents slip between the wire and the traction wheels. This facilitates the drawing of scrapers over considerable distances and with considerable power without damage to the wire. The Manumatic is manu-factured by the company.

Opicon ApS - Stand No. M-9724

EUR Opicon Sandvasker, Sand Recover SR-1600, is a newly developed system for recovering sand from slurry in cattle housing. Following treatment, the sand can be reapplied in the resting boxes and considerable advantages are attained regarding pumping and slurry spreading operations.

Ph-produkter A/S - Stand No. M-9654

Ph-Miljø 2010, type PhMT2080V1RO, is a newly developed slurry treat-ment system for the reduction of odour emission from the spreading of slurry. The treatment involves the addition of ozone and air to the slurry. This results in an improved consistency of the slurry thus reducing the loss of nitrogen.

Fittings, installations and building components - cattle

Skibelund, HZ - Stand No. M-9616

DK VDV Ecofl oor is a newly developed slotted fl ooring element for cattle houses that combines concrete and rubber to ensure non-slip surfaces and good cow comfort. The beams are a combination of profi led concrete and ribbed rubber surfaces. The slots are equipped with a slat system that permits the passage of the manure whilst simultaneously sealing off the evaporation of ammonia from the slurry channel. This ensures a con-siderable reduction regarding the evaporation of ammonia and methane.

SmarterFarming A/S - Stand No. M-9722

CowDetect Selection ver. 1.0 is a new facility for the control of selection gates in the cowhouses direct from the CowDetect manual data terminal with the aid of the cow’s positioning in relation to the gate. Cows that are to be selected from or through a given gate are keyed in on the data ter-minal and the selection is effectuated the next time the cow approaches the gate. The system facilitates single separation or more permanent se-paration in connection with access to a special division or feeding group. The manual terminal ensures on-line update to the house computer and additional recording of information is thus not required in the farm offi ce. In principle, the system can control an unlimited number of gates although it is pre-programmed for the control of 5 gates.

Staldmæglerne A/S - Stand No. L-9000

DK Comfort slotted matting is a rubber surface for installation on the beams of new and existing concrete slotted fl ooring elements. The matting con-sists of a curved rubber casing which is pressed down over the individual concrete beam. The purpose is to ensure increased cow comfort in the gangway areas in addition to securing a faster fl ow of manure through the slotted fl ooring. This ensures a cleaner fl oor and a lower evaporation of ammonia and methane. The rubber casing units are also available with 2

soft rubber fl aps in the slot openings. These fl aps permit the passage of the manure whilst preventing the evaporation of ammonia from the slurry channel. Ammonia evaporation can be reduced by up to 50% and met-hane evaporation is reduced by up to 75%.

Thisted-Fjerritslev Cementvarefabrik A/S - Stand No. M-9648

Multi-manure self-supporting, livestock welfare and ammonia reduction, concrete fl ooring units. These are newly developed fl ooring elements for application in gangway areas in loose operation cattle housing. This invol-ves a partially drained fl ooring as a combination of solid fl ooring and slot-ted fl ooring. The solid fl ooring is integrated with moulded rubber matting to ensure non-slip surfaces and good cow comfort. The system involves two types of slotted fl ooring elements - one for application in the feeding areas and one for gangway areas with resting boxes. The elements for feeding areas are designed with slots in the middle and at one side of the elements whilst the elements for positioning between the resting boxes are designed with slots at both sides. The slot openings are thus position-ed where the major amounts of manure occur.

Fittings, installations and building components - pigs

ACO Funki A/S - Stand No. J1-7114

FunkiFlex, pen system for piglets and porkers, is a new versatile installa-tion system for piglet and porker pens. The system applies a heavy-duty, PVC post system. The strong posts are enclosed with a rounded, smooth surface. Heavy quality, stainless-steel or cast-iron footplates are fi tted on the posts. The pens can be either fi tted with a full width gate that can be opened by a single-hand operation mechanism at both sides or with a suspended gate that can be drawn in or out of the pen. The open sections (gratings) are constructed of strong plastic profi les with smooth edges.

TS 44 S, polymer concrete trough for porkers is a new type that can be fi tted onto concrete fl ooring with bolts and screws. Stainless-steel foot-plates are bolted onto the side of the trough and these are then bolted to the slotted fl ooring with T-bolts. The footplates are height adjustable to ensure that the trough is horizontal regardless of the angle of the fl ooring. The trough is held above the fl oor level to ensure easy cleaning of the pen fl ooring.

Multiboks Comfort, rutting/gestation box for loose operation sows in a new design with alterations to locks and gates. The tilt gate is fi tted with a lock which ensures that the sow is protected in its box when feeding or resting. The lock can be deactivated both at the rear of the box by lifting a hook and from the central lock so that a pre-determined sow remains in its box when the other sows are released. The new gate has been altered

so that it is fl ush with the rear post. The box is furnished so that it can be applied as a feeding/resting box and as an insemination box.

EasyFix Rubber Products - Stand No. J1-7126

EasyFix Pig Slat Rubber units are rubber mats for later installation on concrete slotted fl ooring. These mats are designed with slat openings which correspond to the slotted fl ooring to ensure easy passage of ma-nure and urine. The rubber mats are fi tted to the concrete slotted fl ooring with screws and a hoop system. These rubber mats are manufactured by an approved sub-contractor and the dealer is EasyFix Rubber Products, Ireland.

Egebjerg International A/S - Stand No. M-9600

End gable with drain for stainless-steel long troughs. This gable is produ-ced from hard plastic and is fi tted with bolts on the stainless-steel trough. This replaces the existing model in which the end gable is welded in po-sition ex-works and which does not have a drain. The drain simplifi es the work involved in emptying the trough for water and food residue following clearance and cleaning of the pens. This end gable is manufactured by the company.

Master Floor® cast-iron grid for porkers is an extension of the range of products. The grid has a length of 200 cm, 15 mm slot openings and 30 mm tread surfaces plus integrated cleaning openings. The tread surfaces have a V-profi le on the underside which prevents blockage with manure and thus promotes improved hygiene. The Master Floor cast-iron grid for porkers is manufactured by the company.

Master Floor® cover ribs for cast-iron grids are applied for the covering of cleaning openings in the Master Floor cast-iron grids. In contrast to earlier models, the cover ribs are now installed on a level with the actual fl ooring in that the cast-iron grids are now equipped with slots for the cover ribs. This simplifi es the daily cleaning operations as the scraper and gates no longer collide with the cover ribs.

Sdr. Vissing Staldinventar A/S - Stand No. L-9224

EUR Farrowing pen for loose operation sows equipped with a free holding ring and pendule. The ring ensures that the sow applies the pen in the right way, i.e., that the sow lies down in the right position in connection with farrowing and suckling so that the piglets are not crushed against the si-des of the pen and that the sow treads outside the ring when defaceting. The pendule prevents the sow from rolling in over the piglets when they are suckling. The pen is also equipped with a creep corner and an auto-matic feeder. In addition to the farrowing function, the piglets can remain in the pen from the weaning stage and up to 25-30 kg or to slaughter weight.

CowHouse Int. Calving Mattress is a synthetic material product for cal-ving boxes. The mattress is constructed of a channel sewn underlay with rubber granulate, a 20 mm foam rubber sheet and a waterproof upper surface. The upper surface layer is attached along the sides of the box by a hard plastic rail and non-corrosive screws. The calving mattress is avail-able in lengths of 385 cm and can be positioned in the box at widths of up to 370 cm without joints.

Automatic straw dispenser for piglets, type DH 2, with limited straw dosa-ge to the pen so that straw is available for longer periods. The straw pas-ses over a moving grid which is mounted on two U-rails and which can be raised/lowered by 3.5 cm. The automatic dispenser is constructed from 6 mm solid plastic plates. The dispenser is also equipped with a container below the grid so that excess straw is collected thus avoiding blockage of the slotted fl ooring.

"Liscop Cutli" professional electric clipper for horses. This machine, which is a further development of the wellknown Cutli clipper is lighter and fi tted with a quieter motor. The "Liscop Cutli" is manufactured by Lister GmbH., Germany and Grene is the Danish dealer.

When two preparations are desired via a single needle, a twin unit is fi tted that leads the two preparations to one needle and thus the animal only receives one jab. DOL 94-10, platform weight for the weighing of poultry up to 10 kg. This registers the weight of the bird and transfers the result to the poultry house computer. Depending on which poultry house computer is con-nected to the platform weight, the poultry farmer attains continuous data regarding the weight, weight dispersion, number of weighing operations and the individual growth rate of the poultry. The platform weight is zero-ed following each weighing so that eventual residue of droppings or litter does not have an effect on the weighing results. Nordic Tørv-Des, peat litter with increased absorption and disinfection effect, is a fi ne-grained peat product for application as litter in livestock housing. This is a uniform, brown, fi ne-grained, non-caking peat product.

Tørv-Des has an extremely high absorption with up to 15 times its own weight. The litter has added calcium which contributes to the drying effect and provides a lighter appearance. With its PH of 3.5, the litter will also bind a great deal of ammonia. This peat litter can be applied in all known litter spreading machines on the market and also includes a bonding agent for the reduction of dust problems during spreading operations. Tørv-Des is available in loose weight and in 300 litre bales.

The sy-stem splits fi bres which are diffi cult to decompose in manure and energy crops and thus improves conversion and increases the gas yield. ARP-Safe ApS - Stand No. E-4122

ARP-230 is a pellet press with a 16 kW diesel engine. The production ca-pacity is given as 120-50 kg pellets per hour. The total weight of the pellet press plus motor is 350 kg and the entire unit is mounted on a frame with wheels.

Liagro A/S - Stand No. E-4216

DK The new product exhibit includes two technical innovations: 1. Modular iron plate boiler and 2. Quick shift burner head.

The modular built boiler has a basic effect of 90 kW. Extensions are avail-able in stages of 60 kW and the highest effect is 270 kW.

The new quick shift burner head can be fi tted and removed without tool requirements. Two types are available: With and without rotating collar. The rotating collar, which is driven by the stoker conveyor’s axle, conti-nuously removes sand, ash and slag from the combustion zone. The bur-ner head matches Benekov C and S boilers from Liagro.

Liagro is now the dealer for the Czech manufactured industrial stoker from Hamont. The model name is Liagro and the boiler is available in 12 size classifi cations from 60 kW to 500 kW. These are equipped with automatic start/stop, automatic ash conveyor and self-cleaning heating surfaces and burner unit. There is an external feed conveyor with a swing arm of 6 metres that can be extended up to a length of 13 metres. The stoker is suitable for wood chips, pellets, etc.

Benekov R8 is a compact mini-stoker with a maximum effect of 8 kW. The boiler and the magazine are hexagonal and are of the same size. The

boiler is equipped with automatic start/stop and semi-automatic cleaning. The R8 is suitable for wood pellets.

DK Benekov BBC is a Linux based system for the control of a stoker furnace. The system possesses a number of qualities:

Remote connection to available internet. Keeps operational data for up to fi ve years. Can log data on the factory server. Can acquire new software and new settings for new fuels. Facilitates remote monitoring (from the factory) regarding furnace opera-

tion and thus provides early warnings and appropriate action in the event of operational disturbances.

The system also effectuates a fuel type dependent, oxygen control of both the fan and the stoker conveyor. For example, if wood pellets are used as fuel, the fan is regulated at 20% and the stoker conveyor at 80%. If grain fuel is applied, the fan is regulated at 80% and the stoker conveyor at 20%. A total of 9 different fuels can be selected.

The silo is constructed of aluzink plates and is available in lengths of 3-6 m, the width is 1.9 m and heights are from 2-3.4 m at intervals of 0.5 m. The fl ex screw conveyor, which is available in lengths of up to 20 m, is operated by a reduction gear motor. The motor revs are adapted to the required amounts of wood pellets.

Water and sanitation

Watersystems A/S - Stand No. D-3112

DK WS subair™ 90-350 W is a compressor for oxygenation of waste wa-ter. The cladding classifi cation is 68 and it has a guarantee of minimum 40,000-45,000 operational hours. It is positioned submerged in water which ensures that it is silent, that it is cooled and that it emits heat to the waste water.

Anico - Stand No. K-8402

EUR Anico Animal Control anti-wildlife/wildlife registration is a patented, elec-tronic wildlife control system. The system applies a sensor or video ca-mera to register and save information regarding wildlife movements within a circular or linear area. The control can activate various defensive stimu-lants, for example, in the form of a sound library with 500 different sounds or via the connection of light and odour. A combination of sound, light and movement is also feasible. The system can also be applied to warn against wildlife, e.g., alongside roadways. Registration (with or without pictures) can be transmitted to mobile telephones or to the internet.


Visual Farm 3 is a further development of the PC user surface for process computers in which three new functions are introduced: 1) Integrated ac-tive fl ow in the program means that a professional can visualize and com-mission a new system within only a few hours. 2) It is now also possible to export data from the process computer to an Excel fi le and correspon-dingly also import data from an Excel fi le to the computer. 3) It is possible to choose between various languages in respect of the nationality of the farm personnel. Danish Farm Design A/S - Stand No. K-8206

EUR LIfeSAver (LISA) Farrowing Monitor is an electronic tool for the monito-ring of farrowing for individual sows and simultaneously functions as an electronic sow card. LISA provides visual information to the personnel regarding the farrowing situation for the individual sow and facilitates the collation of data regarding farrowing, treatment, etc. The data from the unit can be transferred to a number of production control systems so that analyses and preparation for ensuing farrowings can be effectuated. The unit is suspended near the sow and, when farrowing begins, the start but-ton is activated. A yellow light appears to signify that farrowing is initiated. The integrated timer starts and, if piglets are not registered or treatment of the sow is not initiated within a 30 minute period, the visual signal will change to red. The red light signifi es that the sow requires the attention of the personnel.

Dansk Landbrugsrådgivning, Landscentret - Stand No. D-3208

DataManagement is a new extra module for application with the Mark Online range. This makes it possible to transmit planned work from Mark Online to a tractor terminal GS2 from John Deere. The tractor operator can thus, direct on the terminal, see what work is to be done on the indi-vidual farms and fi elds. If the GS2 terminal is linked to a GS2 compatible implement, for example, a John Deere fi eld spray, the total amount spread

is automatically registered when the data is returned to Mark Online.

DLBR Mark Online Plus is a new product in the Mark Online range. In comparison to the Mark Online basic version, the Mark Online Plus has the special objective of planning and follow-up procedures of all work operations including task control and time registration on professional plant grower farms.

Economy control package Ø90 is extended with a new annual report that completely separates the internal and external accounts so that the inter-nal accountancy has its focus on the internal turnover and the operational economy, whilst the external accountancy has its focus on the external turnover and the external activities.

MHJ Agroteknik A/S - Stand No. K-8006

Tewestar Biodata is newly developed software for the control of wet feed systems which facilitates the collation of all data from livestock housing in a single control. This facilitates, for example, comparison with climate data and feed consumption and can therefore optimize production. MT Højgaard a/s - Stand No. L-9226

EUR MT Højgaard SmartFarm® Central control system, version 1.0 is a newly developed control for pig production units. SmartFarm is based on that there is just one central control of all process equipment in the production unit, i.e., feed production and feeding, ventilation and climate control, manure clearance and handling, etc. This saves the installation of a large number of decentral controls. The central control can be operated via a main terminal or with the aid of PDAs. The control system also includes an alarm module so that the individual employee can specifi cally see which fault has arisen and in which position and which spare part is perhaps to be replaced. MT Højgaard SmartFarm Central control system is produced by SysTek and the dealer is MT Højgaard as a feature of the SmartFarm concept.

OnlineFarm I/S - Stand No. E-4000

"LetMark" is an online IT product for economy calculations and surveys. The product is an internet based program that can be accessed from mobile telephones, PDA units and computers. Via mobile telephone, the employees and the farmers can register their work tasks direct from the work position during operations.


EUR Skov A/S has, with the program module, KIK, for FarmOnline®, made it easier for broiler producers. The poultry sector in Denmark has decided that all broiler producers must report to a central data base, named KIK.

The objective is that Denmark wants to produce the most highly docu-mented chickens in the world. The KIK program module ensures that by far the majority of reports will be effectuated completely automatically. The essential data can be transferred direct from the poultry house com-puter, thus greatly reducing the reporting work for the individual broiler producer and minimizing the risk of report errors.

FarmOnline® Enterprise is a further development of FarmOnline that meets the requirements of pig and poultry producers for access to a collective management survey of their total production instead of being positioned around several farms. The program facilitates the selection of which data is to be received so that an appropriate survey is attained wit-hout the inclusion of unnecessary details. It is also possible to import dra-wings and photographs in the program so that one can quickly recognize which farm, housing unit or section the data originates from. FarmOnline Enterprise is produced by the company.

SmarterFarming A/S - Stand No. M-9722

CowDetect PC-Portal ver. 1.0 is a PC platform with which all automatic behavioural registrations and the farm manager’s data registration on the manual terminal can be applied for analyses of the entire herd and at in-dividual animal levels. The analyses are presented as easily read graphics and fi gure tables, e.g., the cow’s time budget and movement patterns in the cow house.

CowDetect Condition Score Card ver. 1.0. As a new facility in the CowDe-tect system, the company can now supply an integrated condition score card. Condition evaluation for each animal is recorded on the manual terminal in the cow house and is transferred direct to the cow house com-puter.

EUR CowDetect Polar Plot version 1.0 is a new visualization method which, with 8 or 10 behavioural elements plus number of milkings, is presented in graphic form as a spider web illustration. The cow’s data is presented as a fi gure with clear colour marking of the rolling average and a thick graph line that represents the animal’s immediate status.

VengSystem - Stand No. M-9502

VengSystem PC Sow is a newly developed software for the control and registration of data from the Intelligent heating lamp. The program en-ables the monitoring of the consumption of the heating lamp and this data can be collated. This data can contribute to indications regarding a lower lactation from the sow. The program can also be applied to test all heat-ing lamps, to zero the controls of heating lamps and to alter temperature graphs and switch off dates. PC Sow is produced by the company.

Jydeland Maskinfabrik A/S - Stand No. J2-7504

Jydeland Bobman Dumper is a small three-wheeled dumper with a 7.4 kW diesel engine. It has three-wheel drive. Width: 1 metre. Net weight: 400 kg. The dumper is equipped with a hydraulic tipper that has a load capacity of 1.5 tons and which can be equipped with scraper or brush.

EUR Nilfi sk-ALTO ERGO 2000 is a newly developed fl ushing handle for high-pressure cleaners. The fl ushing handle is improved in a number of areas in comparison to earlier models to improve capacity and ergonomics for the operator. The valve construction reduces pressure loss and a vario-pres-sure function is applied that can be activated during fl ushing operations. The required activation power is reduced by 25 percent in comparison with existing models and the holding power requirement is reduced by 32 percent and the handle is designed with a soft-grip surface.

The bayonet socket function has been altered so that it is easier and more logical to fi t the rod. All in all, this means that the ERGO 2000 fl ushing handle greatly improves ergonomics and signifi cantly reduces the strain

Hyo-Nord - Stand No. M-9800

Top-Stop is an electronic unit for the prevention of overfi lling fi eld sprays, etc. It is connected to a normal 230 V power outlet and consists of a control box linked to a water meter and a magnetic valve. The required amount of water is adjusted with arrow keys and the actual amount is in-dicated on a display. There is also a water level contact which is position-ed at the top of the tank so that the water supply is turned off if the tank is full prior to the pre-set amount being attained.

It can ope-rate with tractors with a net weight of as low as approx. 2,000 kg. The clipper head is mounted on a hydraulic swing beam that has a reach of up to 4.2 metres. If the machine is fi tted with a fi nger clipper it can also be applied for cutting hedgerows and hedges.

Maschio Giraffetta is a verge clipper which is designed for the trimming of areas with grass and bushes. It is installed on the tractor’s 3-point suspension and can operate on small, narrow-gauge tractors. The clipper head is mounted on a hydraulic swing beam and can operate within the range -65º to + 90º, which also enables the machine to trim hedgerows.

Hydrema 912HM dumper is a highly terrain adaptable dumper with four relatively large wheels.
