SUBSTANCE USE/ABUSE ISSUES

This section will reflect substance use history, recommended level of care, and treatment history. The NEEDS Assessment identifies first and second drugs of choice, as well as suggested DSM-IV Diagnosis and ASAM Level of Care recommendations.

DRUGS USED LIFETIME

NOTES: As we see, drug use was trending upwards in all categories through 2011. This again is significant when we look at developing curriculum, prevention programs, treatment programs, etc. We may also need to delve more deeply into all these numbers to see if the programs are encountering people with more severe substance abuse issues than in past years.
