A young telegraph operator had become anxious about his soul. After a sleepless night, he went to

his duties the next morning still absorbed in the thought that he was a lost sinner. Soon he heard the

click of the instrument. With great astonishment and emotion he spelled out this message: "From

H—, M—, Windermere, to J—, B—, Warkworth. 'Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the

sin of the world,' ‘in whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins.'"

The young operator, in transcribing this message, received a message to his own heart, and was

saved.—By Charles G. Bellah, Signs of the Times, November 18, 1941.
