scenarios. Whatever happens, safety is always

a matter of control. In the New Jeep® Compass

your drive is smooth and secure, thanks to 70

active and passive safety features, including Forward

Collision Warning Plus and Lane Departure Warning

Plus (standard on all models), that keep you safe from all

possible dangers along the road. Anywhere you go.

Blind Spot Monitoring

For the rear “blind spot” of the vehicle, a

sophisticated radar-based system detects an

approaching vehicle behind you. When on, the

device instantly alerts the driver with a symbol

that lights up in the side view mirror.

Adaptive Cruise Control

Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go* automatically

adjusts the driving speed to maintain a pre-selected

distance from the vehicle ahead. It can even bring the vehicle

to a complete stop if necessary, without driver input.

Lane Departure Warning Plus

A camera “reads” lane markings and detects possible collision

risks, alerting the driver (when the turn signal is off) if the vehicle

is veering out of its lane. If the driver can not respond promptly, the

system will automatically steer the vehicle back on course.

Forward Collision Warning Plus

Uses radar sensors to detect if the New Jeep® Compass is approaching another

vehicle too rapidly and will audibly alert the driver and apply brakes if necessary

to reduce the chance of a collision.

Everything changes, everything evolves. But the fun to drive remains. The New Jeep® Compass has taken the internal

combustion engine to a new level. The result? A lighter engine, with an excellent response for reduced fuel consumption

and a high-standing performance respectfull with the enviroment and exciting to drive in all condition. New Jeep® Compass

comes with a new turbocharged 4-cylinder 1.3 Petrol Engine, capable of delivering 130 hp with manual transmission and a front

wheel drive configuration, or 150 hp when linked to a 6-speed automatic dual clutch transmission and front wheel drive. This

new, highly efficient petrol engine improves low-end responsiveness, with max torque figures up to 270Nm, and provides a better

acoustic comfort both at low and high speeds when compared to its predecessor. Not only that, being a E6d-Final engine, it reduces

Co2 emissions considerably. Coasting is implemented with vehicles equipped with DDCT Transmission. The basic principle of the coasting

function is to decouple the combustion engine from the drivetrain and prevent deceleration caused by engine braking. Also the New

Jeep® Compass comes with a diesel engine designed for great efficiency on all terrains: the 1.6 MultiJet II delivering 120 hp, with manual

transmission and front wheel drive configuration.

Its true off-road spirit has not changed. The engine is the real revolution. The New Jeep®

Compass has reinvented itself to meet the challenges of the constantly evolving concept

of mobility, but its signature values of freedom and style remain intact. It is only more

sustainable, more powerful and more fun. Thanks to the newly developed Plug-in

Hybrid 4xe engine, the New Jeep® Compass combines its strong off-road nature with

an innovative, urban-driven technology. A new power for the Jeep® Compass that

looks ahead.

ENERGYNEW

Thanks to full electric mode, the New Jeep® Compass Plug-in Hybrid 4xe is born to be two

cars in one with petrol engine dedicated to the propulsion of the front wheels, and the

Plug-in Hybrid reserved for the rear ones. The propulsive synergy of the plug-in hybrid

system performs with a 130 or 180 hp gas engine dedicated to the front axle combined

with addictional 44kW (60hp) from electric unit reserved for the rear wheels. The New

Jeep® Compass power output ranges from 190 hp to 240 hp, depending on the trim.

The electric motor system is powered by an 11.4 kWh battery, which can recharge

onboard during deceleration through regenerative braking, or can be connected

to an external domestic or public charging station. With a fully charged

battery, the New Jeep® Compass can drive up to 50 km in full electric mode*.

FUEL EFFICIENCY

The engine is specifically designed to increase fuel

efficiency, with the integration of an electric engine and

batteries in the rear axle, thus eliminating the need for

any mechanical connection between front and rear axis.

ENERGY REGENERATION

Charging your battery on the go is fast and easy

with e-coasting, which uses the negative torque of

engine brake as a way to charger.

BETTER TRACTION

The 4xe system keeps your vehicle stable and easy

to maneuver in every driving environment, adjusting

torque to the wheels and allowing great control.

In other words, 4xe means four-wheeldrive

always guaranteed in hybrid mode, even when

the battery is at its minimum.

GREAT OFF-ROAD CAPABILITY

The entire system is designed for an increased low-

speed torque capability thanks to an electric engine

capable of delivering full torque from driving start.

The New Jeep® Compass Plug-in Hybrid 4xe gives you great potential

from an internal combustion engine coupled with an electric motor.

The 4xe system provides a perfect balance between performance,

electric power, fuel consumption and charging time. The dual

With the New Jeep® Compass, every road

becomes yours and no terrain will take you by

activate the Selec-Terrain™ device manually in the

Auto

The default selection that is perfect for everyday driving

and uses the rear electric motor when necessary to engage

the electric 4x4 system.

Sport

This new, dynamic driving mode adds even more fun to the daily

urban drives, by tightening up the steering, sharpening the throttle

response and adjusting the transmission’s behaviour through higher

upshifts for full horsepower and torque seizure.

Snow

Nevermind the cold weather! Drive on. The Snow setting will keep you in

control. Once set, it will activate the four-wheel drive, reducing oversteering

to the minimum and maintaining the traction and stability you need.

Sand/Mud

Activate Sand/Mud mode for maximizing traction control at low-speed, managing

wheel spinning through specific transmission ratios to tackle uneven, slippery terrains.

to continuos electric torque delivery adjustments, allowing the New Jeep® Compass to

It is always the right time to recharge your New Jeep® Compass.

You can choose the charging mode based on your habits and

needs. Recharge is easy, the notification lights that indicate

the selected charging mode allow you to easily monitor your

vehicle’s charging status. A flashing blue LED indicates that

the scheduled charging program is on. The Green LED

shows charging level and a flashing Red LED signals a

problem or incorrect use.

Or you can choose to recharge on

the go at any public charging station

(average recharge time: 1hr and 40 mins

thanks to 7.4 kW power)

You can do it at home with the domestic cable, provided by the New Jeep® Compass, or with

the optional easyWallbox, which let a charging time of 4 hours (2.3kW power) - with no

need of any intervention by specialized staff for the installation. Additionally, with the

assistance of an electrician, it is possible to increase the charging speed up to 7.4 kW

(with the same hardware), with consequent decrease of the charging time up to 100

minutes. You can also schedule the charging according to your needs through the
