FYI for Your First Week @ WSU • Before January 9 – Food is on your own on arrival days. A list of
restaurants with a map is provided in your welcome packet. Or use the QR code to find more options.
• January 9 - 11 – ISSS will provide most meals.
• January 12– Meal plans begin at lunch, with service in Jack Kane and Lourdes Dining Halls.
• Tap water is clean in most of the U.S. Please use a reusable water bottle instead of disposable plastic bottles.

• ISSS will provide transportation between West Campus/East Lake and Main Campus from January 7 - 12. Please see your welcome packet for the schedule.
• WSU Shuttle service for the semester will begin on Monday, January 13.
• Transportation will be provided during orientation for shopping at Walmart. Please see schedule
below for details.
• Activate your StarID o StarID is listed on your admission letter. o https://starid.minnstate.edu/
• WSU wifi inside WSU buildings: o Wazoo or Warrior network o Enter your starID and password.
• WSU guest wifi o WSUGuest2 network o two-hour and two GB data limit o account information is deleted every 24 hours.

Greeting for Arrival to WSU International Student & Scholarship Services Office (ISSS) ➢ Arrival services are provided by WSU ISSS
➢ You must send your arrival details to ISS no later than December 15, 2019.
➢ Greeters will welcome you the moment you arrive in WSU and help you check in to your pre-booked accommodation.
To be confirmed after we receive your arrival information.
ISSS will provide transportation from East Lake and West Campus during orientation. East Lake –by the bench in front of building A West Campus –purple awning in front of Lourdes Hall

• Health Insurance Payment is due. Assign your payment to Health Insurance in e-Services.
• Last Day to Add/Drop – the last day to change classes without the class remaining on your transcript.
• Ice Skating Trip to Indoor Ice Arena – Bud King 12:45-3pm – Sign up at ISS Office – cost is $5 Monday January 20
