Talk about what it would feel like to live alone. Name one thing you especially like about being married? Parenting Pointers… Sunday October 11: Take the time to hug your child (children). 12 I know to be humbled, and I also know to have abundance. In every (circumstance) and in everything, I have learned the secret (how) to be satisfied and to hunger, to have abundance and be in need. 13 I made strong in every (way) by the (One) empowering me. 14 Yet, you did well having been my part-ners in affliction.

19 My God will fill all of your needs ac-cording to his riches, in (his) glory, in CHRIST JESUS. 20 To God our Father (be) glory upon ages of ages. Amen

Saint of the Week: St. Teresa of Avila St. Teresa of Avila was a Spanish Carmelite nun who worked to revive her reli-gious community. Once, she was traveling between convents in a nasty storm when the cart she was riding in hit a bump in the road. The cart flipped over and St. Teresa was thrown onto the side of the road into mud. She looked up and said, "God, if this is how you treat your friends, it's no wonder you have so few of them!" This story reminds us to always be open and honest with God. And, like St. Teresa, to be ready to receive His grace in return. Francis Xavier Seelos, pray for us!”

May the choir of angels come to greet her and speed her to Paradise. Please pray for the soul of:

Alisa G. Bonsall

May her soul and all of the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace.

For those Holy Family parishioners that have returned to attending Mass in person, you have recently seen Knights of Colum-bus members at the church exit collecting for the Special Olympics. Later this month, we will be collecting two weekends in a row for our annual "Coats For Kids" cam-paign. All of the funds received will be used to purchase new coats which will then be sent to the Minister of Caring facili-ty in Wilmington. So, please be aware that when you see a Knight's member with his hand out (or rather a collection container), all of the funds collected are promptly turned over to those in need. And our members take great personal satisfaction in participating in activities of this nature. If you are a man over 18 and a practicing Catholic who is looking for a way to be-come further involved in helping others, please let us know. To find out more about becoming a member of the Knights of Co-lumbus, please call Ron Cahill, Grand Knight at 610-256-8988 or Brian Kunkel, Membership Director at 302 834-3644.

FRIENDS HELPING FRIENDS DAYS AT BOSCOV'S THIS YEAR IS THE

24TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE SALE OCT 14 & OCTOBER 15, 2020 9 AM-9PM

This year there will not be coupons to purchase in advance of the sale as in the past due to the pandemic. No coupon is necessary this year. Instead all charitable organiza-tions will be given a special code. Customers will receive a 20% discount on the lowest price of most items even if the item is already on sale. In addition, on some big ticket items there will be a 10% dis-count. When the customer goes to the cashier they will be asked the name of the organization they wish to support.. When you make your purchase tell the cashier you want the 5% to go to Holy Family Woman's Group. The Women's Group is involved in many projects. We support Outreach, St Vincent De-Paul, Seamen's Center, Empowerment Center just to name a few. This is our biggest fund raiser, please help to make it a success. Things are very different this year in almost all aspects of our lives. Most customers take advantage of this sale to start their Christmas shopping.
