Make a big impression.Designed and developed in Europe, the new generation i20 is quite an eye-catcher. This latest interpretation of Hyundai’s “Fluidic Sculpture 2.0” design philosophy is strengthened by dynamically stretched headlamps and the precise surface contouring. Unique in this class is the availability of the extremely wide opening panoramic sunroof (pictured) that floods the interior with light.

An eye-catcher from every angle.The purposeful stance of the new i20 is further enhanced by the “floating roof” effect created by the gloss black c-pillar. A distinctive side feature line runs the length of the car to meet the handsome 3-dimensional rear lamps, completing the overall impression of premium quality design.

Think big, and relax!Space isn’t a luxury, it’s a must. Five adults can be comfortably accommodated within the roomy cabin, thanks to the class-leading combined legroom. The feeling of space is emphasised by a wide, coloured dashboard insert that complements door panels and seating fabrics. Four interior colour packages are available, here we show “Cappuccino”. Premium style, redefined.The interior design of our new i20 dashboard is so much more than elegant and “grown-up” – it’s also extremely efficient and user-friendly. Our ergonomics experts have advanced the functional clustering of instruments and controls so that all are perfectly positioned for easy, intuitive use. “White on blue” instrument graphics are optimally balanced for day or night driving. The slim A-pillars in high strength steel extend the feeling of space and enhance the driver’s field of vision.

Quality you can see and feel.The complete interior is finished in carefully selected fabrics and materials that will impress you with their perfect fit and high quality. The resulting ambience combines with equipment levels to make the i20 unique in this class. Highlights include leather trim, dash-top docking station for smartphones, heated steering wheel, and 7” navigation system with integrated reversing camera. Features may be standard or optional, depending on model.

Integrated navigation system. Easy-to-use navigation system with an impressive 7” screen seamlessly integrated into the dashboard.

Every day is different. Your i20 is ready!Whatever your day has in store, your new i20 has the versatility to help you on your way. The class-leading 326-litre trunk volume can be increased to 1042 litres by folding the rear seats flat. The luggage floorboard can be moved up or down as required, and there are numerous stowage possibilities located conveniently throughout the cabin.

Cup-holders. Conveniently positioned between the front seats.

Split-fold rear seat. The rear seats can be folded flat in the ratio 60:40 to create a conveniently versatile load space.

Adjustable load space floor. The luggage floor can be located at 2 different heights to create either a flat load floor when seats are folded flat, or a deeper load space if preferred.

Bottle stowage in doors. 1.5 litre bottles can be securely stowed in the front door pockets, while the rear doors can accommodate 1 litre bottles.

There’s a conveniently flat load space floor when the rear seats are folded down and the luggage floorboard is in the high position.

Safety is not an option. It’s our passion.And we’re passionate about introducing more safety to this market segment, so the chassis and body structure make extensive use of ultra-high-strength steel. Besides rain sensors and automatic lights, the new i20 also offers the sophistication of cornering lights, Lane Departure Warning System and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System.

Tyre Pressure Monitoring System. Senses and indicates the loss of pressure in individual tyres.

Lane Departure Warning System. First visual, then audible warning when leaving a traffic lane without signalling.

Hill Start Assist Control. Prevents unintentional rollback when starting on hills.

Height-adjustable seat belts. The upper front seatbelt mounts are height-adjustable for improved safety and comfort.

6 airbags. All-round protection with 2 front, 2 side and 2 curtain airbags.

Electronic Stability Control. Works unobtrusively with Vehicle Stability Management to maintain grip and control especially on low-friction surfaces.

Taking power to the streets.We’ve paid special attention to the performance and economy of the engines available in our new i20. They all meet Euro 6 standards, and have been calibrated to meet the demands of European drivers. There are three four-cylinder petrol units: a 75 PS (55 kW) 1.25-litre, an 84 PS (62 kW) 1.25-litre, and a 100 PS (74 kW) 1.4-litre. They are modern, all-aluminium engines with dual overhead camshafts and continuously variable valve timing.

Two diesel engines are available: a 75 PS (55 kW) 1.1-litre and a 90 PS (66 kW) 1.4-litre. These high-economy, high-torque units are mated to six-speed manual transmissions.

Transmissions. The 6-speed manual transmission is standard with all engines except the 1.25-litre engines that are equipped with a 5-speed manual. A 4-speed automatic transmission is available for the 1.4-litre petrol engine.

BlueDrive. Ideal Stop & Go (ISG), Alternator Management System (AMS) and low rolling resistance tyres are complemented by our Energy regeneration System (ERS): when the car is moving in gear but with a closed throttle, the braking effect of the engine generates kinetic energy that is converted into electricity and stored in the battery. This reduces both fuel consumption and exhaust emissions.

Raising the standard. i20 Access.Standard equipment includes the everyday convenience of front electric windows, powered and heated door mirrors, height-adjustable driver’s seat and a steering wheel that’s adjustable for height and reach. Further comforts, such as radio with USB and Aux ports, keyless entry and tinted windows are also standard, and there’s also the option of manual air conditioning and front fog lamps.

The next level. i20 Comfort.A step up from the Access model is the i20 Comfort. With a list of standard features that includes steering wheel audio controls, CD player with Bluetooth and 1GB storage, leather steering wheel and gear shifter, the Comfort model really lives up to its name. But the list does not end here. The Lane Departure Warning System, parking sensors, front fog lights and cruise control with speed limiter all contribute to a driving experience that is both safe, stress-free and more than comfortable.

Two ways to indulge yourself. i20 Panorama and i20 LED.These two “top of the line” models make the i20 even more tempting. Besides all the equipment of the Comfort model, we’ve added smart 16” alloy wheels, electro-chromatic mirror (ECM) and power folding door mirrors. True highlights are the projector headlamp units with integrated LED daytime running lights and cornering lights. Inside, you benefit from a convenient centre console with armrest, automatic climate control and our Auto Defog system. Rain sensors and automatic lights are standard.

Automatic climate control. Select your preferred temperature and the system does the rest. Its auto-defog function keeps the windscreen clear.

Centre console and armrest. Extra stowage in the centre console with a lid that forms a comfortable padded armrest.

Power folding door mirrors. The door mirrors can be electrically folded against the body. Useful when parked in tight spaces.

High performance projector headlamps. Combined with LED daytime running lights and static cornering lights.

Electro-chromatic mirror (ECM). The interior mirror automatically darkens when its sensor detects glare from the headlights of following vehicles.
