advance for your support, patience, and understanding as we adjust to our “new”

normal.

Here are some snippets and tidbits you need to know!

o Note: many classrooms do not have spacing which allows for students to be

6-ft apart at all times.

Changes to Breakfast and Lunch

• Heritage participates in the CEP Program (Community Eligibility Provision). This

grants our students FREE breakfast and lunch.

o All students will go to breakfast and lunch as a class each day. Students can

choose to eat breakfast or keep items for a snack.

o No extras will be available for purchase until further notice; therefore,

there is NO need to send money to school.

o Due to our no visitors guidelines, students will not have guests for lunch.

o Outside food cannot be brought in for breakfast or lunch

▪ This includes birthdays. Currently, we cannot have food brought in to

eating in the cafeteria and the gym.

Changes to Car Riders

• Students’ temperatures will be taken PRIOR to students leaving their car.
