material elasticity parameter to eliminate material springback effects.
®
Ercolina formers are the most important machine bending equipment,
which has undergone many design improvements that confirm the
Besides being produced as a single
metal block with no other welded piece attached, Ercolina formers
present a particular groove shape, enhanced in 30 years of constant
designing to achieve superior quality bends also with small wall
thickness tubes and very soft materials. Furthermore, an encoder for
measuring former rotation angle is installed to assure bend accuracy
up to 1° bend angle.

Soft touch control panel integrated in the machine body
Multifunctional menu for programming bend angles, mandrel pre-extraction and internal tube lubrication
One axis control for former rotation
Length and rotation positioning of the mandrel chuck are carried out manually by using standard adjustable mechanical stops or by high
precision digital display
Reinforced mandrel arm with extended shaft for higher rigidity
High quality bends even with thin wall thicknesses and tight radii
The drive unit can be used as a non mandrel or a mandrel bender with the only use of the mandrel attachment
Very robust cast iron tooling for higher rigidity and bending accuracy
Variable speed using inverter system
Easy installation and low maintainance

Rotating working head to get 2
functions in 1 machine: notching
and grinding
EXCLUSIVE
QUICK ROLLER CHANGE OVER SYSTEM
The ERCONOTCH EN100 and EN180 have a uniqueand revolutionary conical mounting system of the frontroller for faster tool change over and perfect auto-centring.
Unlike other machines available on the market, theERCONOTCH conical side supports are held by 4sealed bearings (2 on each side).
The exclusive advantages of this system are:- highly reduced vibrations- increased bearings life- higher machine reliability
COMBINED SIDEAND FEED MOVEMENTS
Innovative and patented system of side (A on Fig. 1)and feed (B on Fig. 1) combined moviments. It feedsthe tube into the grinding belt and simultaneouslymoves the tube along the belt: for maximum belt life,minimum burring and better heat dissipation during jobperformance.

Ercolina non mandrel machines are supplied with the most
advanced tooling technology, developed by thirty years
international market experience and reaserch.
A complete set of tools is made up of two main components, the
that shapes the curve turning round together with the
machine rotating shaft, and the (or in
particular cases the roll) that is moved towards the profile to block
it during the bending phase.
®
former
counterbending die
To choose the most appropriate set of tooling the main parameters
are: type of material, profile dimensions (the outside diameters,
for round tubes) and the required radius (distance - in mm or
inches - between the center of the curve and the tube center line).
The selection tables on pages 67, 68, 69 will guide you through
former choice, other tables for counterbending die selection are
on pages 84 and 85.

2. Information required to order are:
a) tube diameter or profile dimensions;
b) wall thickness;
c) material (AISI/DIN/JIS);
d) bend radius.
3. Material samples may be required for tooling testing.
4. For special applications, quoted drawings may be requested.
5. The Manufacturer will not be held responsible for any incorrect
manufacturing of if order has been processed without drawings.
