NEW CLOSED ROAD RUNNING EVENT ON SUNDAY 18TH NOVEMBER 2018

ROAD CLOSURES WILL AFFECT YOUR AREAThe route and road closure timings overleaf have been carefully considered and selected through a partnershipwith the local authority, emergency services and Transport for London to minimise the inconveniences of thenecessary road closures. Emergency services will be operating as usual so please follow normal procedures inthe case of an emergency. Pedestrian access will be unaffected across the event route, but there will be novehicle or bicycle access on these roads during the road closure period. Bus diversions will also be in place forthe event so do visit www.tfl.gov.uk to see if your public transport journey by bus is affected.

This letter includes details (on the map overleaf) of the exact road closure and reopening times as well as keylocal egress routes that will be available after the last runner exits each sector. We hope this will enablemovement on the morning of the event if leaving your property from a road affected by the closures. Eventstewards will be in place across the route during all closure times to assist you should you need.

Listed below are the roads used by the run route with their specific closure and reopening times. Where roadsare listed multiple times, please refer to the map overleaf which highlights where and at what time that road isexpected to be closed. A full list of every road affected by the closures can be found on our website(www.adidascityruns.com/fulham). Whilst these closure times have been established to assist your planning onthe day, we will endeavour to open all roads as early as possible, with our clear up teams following the finalrunner to remove all event infrastructure and cleanse the route promptly.

We are working with social carers, local services such as meals on wheels and community nurses to allow accessduring closure times where possible. If you have plans that you think may be impacted by the planned roadclosures which cannot be amended, such as travel arrangements, formal events or carer responsibilities westrongly recommend residents to please contact us prior to the event and we will assist wherever possible. The inaugural Fulham 10K, in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital,will take place on Sunday 18th November from Eel Brook Common,with its route exploring a range of roads across the borough (pleasesee map overleaf).

There will be some very localised amplified sound on the morning of the event. Local residents to areas that willexperience amplified sound will be contacted 2 weeks prior to the event with full details of the timings and limits inplace, this is in line with the licensing threshold for a residential area and in agreement with the local council.

Advance warning signs for road closures will be erected 2 weeks before the event. Parking/loading will not be permitted on single yellow lines on roads on the run route. Some parking suspensions will be in place. Any vehicles parked illegally will be towed.
