and contribute to the educational fraternity. It was a moment of great pride for all of us when in the year 2003, Narsee Monjee Institute of
Management Studies was declared a deemed‐to‐be‐university; a status which was also confirmed by the Ministry of Human Resource and

KPMSOL follows the following ‘letter grades’ and corresponding’ grade points’ system:
GRADING SYSTEM
The difference between the maximum marks and pass marks is calculated and divided into slabs of nine letter grades (i.e. A+, A, and A‐, B+, B and B‐and C+, C and C‐). Grading is done on the basis of marks obtained by a student in each subject which is thereafter fitted into the above slabs of letter grades.
Calculation of Grade Point Average (GPA)
Grade Point Average for a term is computed by dividing, the sum of product of grade point of each course/ module and credit value assigned, to each respective course by the sum of credits assigned to all the courses/ modules for the related term.
GPA =∑CG/ ∑C
C = Credit value assigned to a course/ module
G = Grade point value assigned to a student for course/ module corresponding to the letter grade
