New BanknoteCharity Collective Sets

Earlier last year, �e Community Chest of Hong Kong has launched the “New Banknote Charity Collective Sets” for HK$500 and

HK$1,000 banknotes with matching serial numbers to raise funds for the needy. Hong Kong’s three note-issuing banks –

Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited, �e Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited and Standard Chartered Bank

(Hong Kong) Limited have generously shown their support again by donating the full set of HK$20, HK$50, HK$100, HK$500 and

HK$1,000 banknotes with matching serial numbers to �e Community Chest for fund-raising purposes.

All funds raised will be allocated in full, with no deductions for administrative expenses, to our 153 member social welfare agencies.

1. If more than one bid is received for a particular banknote number, the set will be assigned to the highest bidder.

2. If two or more bids are received with the same amount for a particular number, the set will be allocated through a ballot draw.
