It’s hard to believe that just a few weeks ago, I was up in the mountains photographing a family in the sun amongst beautiful autumn colours … and then a few days ago it started to snow.. winter seemed to arrive overnight!

Autumn flew by too, and not there are just a few days to Christmas - I hope you have been enjoying seasonal festivities despite the lack of snow.

In this edition, I have decided to show you what I have been up to this autumn via several different images. On the page opposite you can see the charity Hallowe’en shoot held at the studio in October. Children were invited to come to the studio and be photographed in their Hallowe’en costumes and received a photo in exchange for a donation of clothing for refugee homes in Zurich. Our surprise guest was Zoe the cat who was very popular with all the children!

The next few pages show different autumnal photo shoots on location in Octover/November, and the final spread features images from mini seasonal shoots which took place at the studio and at 4times kids boutique.

I hope I will be able to showcase some images in the snow next time!

The studio will be closed from Friday 19 December and we will be back on Thursday 7 January. Emails will be read every 2-3 days during this time.

CommunityLinks Christmas Party Community Links was set up in 2013 as a formal association to help coordinate the projects and fundraising of a group of expat families, who came together 6 years ago to see how they could make a direct positive impact and give back to the community. Since 2009, an annual holiday party for the children of asylum seekers in the Canton of Zug is organised by volunteers from the international community, and each year around 100 children and their parents are hosted for an evening of music, games and gifts. This year, 153 children attended the party with their families and it was my first time volunteering at this fun event. Huge thanks to the sponsors of the event this year who were: Passion Food, Brauerai Baar, TopCC, Ergolino, Manor, Zug4you and Bodymindand Soul, and the event was supported by volunteers and their families who helped set up, bake cakes, organise games and serve food.
