Ruslan was born on January 13, 1975. He received his early education at MRSM Pasir

Tumboh and Kuala Terengganu. Then, he went to UiTM Segamat to continue his studies

at tertiary level and awarded Diploma in Accounting. He then continued his education

in UiTM Jengka and received Diploma in Computer Science. Finally, he obtained

National Higher Diploma in quantity surveying from College University of TWINTECH in

Kuala Lumpur.

He has been in several fields of professions for more than eight years especially in

quantity surveying, IT and accounting.

He began his career as a manager at Johnson & Johnson. In May 2000, he started his

own IT anc construction business and became Managing Director of Alam

Innovative and results-driven with 14 years experience in ICT industries combining talents

in cross-technology and staff leadership to deliver high-performance Internet

applications and IT infrastructure. Formerly worked with Fuji Xerox Malaysia for 8 years as

System Administrator which responsible for all aspects of technology implementation

including high-level architectural designing, construction, reconstruction, technology

standardization and modernization.

Subsequently, attached to an ICT Consultants firm, focused mainly in the government

sector. Main responsibilities includes heading the Project/Product department, project

management tasks for various project and handling sales for contracts worth more than

RM10.0 million. Among the major projects managed was with Ministry of Defense for

maintenance of nation-wide training centers, implementation of Ugat (URUSAN GAJI

ANGKATAN TENTERA) System, Malaysian Armed Forces Cataloguing Authority (MAFCA),

E-MALL, Learning Management System (E-LMS) and MIDS for Department Civil Aviation

(DCA). During this period, I achieved certification as a Certified Data Center Professional

(CDCP) and Project Management Professional.
