FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What happens to my owner cylinder that I have purchased if I swap it?

Your original cylinder becomes part of the swap pool and you take ownership of the cylinder received.

Do I have to swap my cylinder? Can I just get the same one filled?

You don’t have to swap your cylinder. It can be refilled by other independent gas companies at their discretion. EZiSwap Gas currently fills at its Auckland location only.

Can I sell the swap cylinder I receive if I no longer require it?

Yes you can. You own the cylinder and are free to sell it.

My cylinder is new but the swap cylinder is a few years old. What happens if the test date runs out while I have it?

You will always receive a swap cylinder that is in test. If the cylinder that you bring in is out of test and was supplied by us, we will swap it. EZiSwap Gas maintains and tests the swap cylinders as required.

Can I get my originally purchased cylinder back?

If you have already swapped it for another and it has entered the swap pool, it is unlikely, although, we will do our best to trace it for you.

Can I swap my cylinder for a different type of gas?

Only Argon and Argon/Co2 cylinders are interchangeable.

Do I have to have a cylinder to swap?

Yes. You need to purchase an EZiSwap cylinder to enter the swap system.

Is EZiSwap Gas Ltd part of , or associated with, any other gas company?

No, EZiSwap Gas Ltd is a privately owned NZ company.
