A. TheMH15isahighpressurepropaneapplianceandisdesignedtobeoperatedfroma14.1or16.4ouncedisposablepropanecylinder.(Propanecylindernotincluded.)Everyunitistestedduringmanufacturingandshippedfullyassembledexceptfortheplasticstand.
B. TheseheatersareequippedwithautomaticSafetyShutoffValves.Thegasflowwillautomaticallystopiftheheaterfailstooperateforanyreason.

FUEL GAS ODORLP gas and natural gas have man-made odorants added specifically for detection of fuel gas leaks.If a gas leak occurs you should be able to smell the fuel gas. •FINALLY,letthefuelgasservicepersonandthefirefighterscheckforescapedgas.Havethemairoutthebuildingandareabeforeyoureturn.Properlytrainedservicepeoplemustrepairanyleaks,checkforfurtherleakages,andthenrelighttheapplianceforyou.
ODOR FADING - NO ODOR DETECTED•Somepeoplecannotsmellwell.Somepeoplecannotsmelltheodoroftheman-madechemicaladdedtopropane(LP)ornaturalgas.Youmustdetermineifyoucansmelltheodorantinthesefuelgases.
•Learntorecognizetheodorofpropane(LP)gasandnaturalgas.Localpropane(LP)gasdealerswillbemorethanhappytogiveyouascratchandsniffpamphlet.Useittobecomefamiliarwiththefuelgasodor.
•Smokingcandecreaseyourabilitytosmell.Beingaroundanodorforaperiodoftimecanaffectyoursensitivitytothatparticularodor.Odorspresentinanimalconfinementbuildingscanmaskfuelgasodor.
•The odorant in propane (LP) gas and natural gas iscolorless and the intensity of its odor can fade undersome circumstances.
• Ifthereisanundergroundleak,themovementofgasthroughthesoilcanfiltertheodorant.
•Propane(LP)gasodormaydifferinintensityatdifferentlevels.SincePropane(LP)gasisheavierthanair,theremaybemoreodoratlowerlevels.
• Always be sensitive to the slightest gas odor. Ifyoucontinuetodetectanygasodor,nomatterhowsmall,treatitasaseriousleak.Immediatelygointoactionasdiscussedpreviously.

•Aperiodicsnifftestaroundtheheaterorattheheater’sjoints;i.e.hose,connections,etc.,isagoodsafetypracticeunderanyconditions.Ifyousmellevenasmallamountofgas,CONTACTYOURFUELGASSUPPLIERIMMEDIATELY.DONOTWAIT!

PROPANE IS VERY FLAMMABLE:Intheeventofaleak,propanewillaccumulateandthepossibilityofafireispresent.Propanegasisscentedanditsstrongodorisreadilydetectable.Neverstrikeamatchorbringanyflameorcreateanelectricsparkinanenclosurewhenyousmellpropanegas.Ventilatetheareathoroughly,movetheheateroutside,findandcorrectthesourceoftheleakbeforeattemptingtolightanyappliance.Ifyouareunsureoftheseinstructionsevacuateimmediatelyandcallforhelp.
C. GAS LEAKAGE:Iftheleakcannotbecorrected,donottamperwiththeheater.Followtheshutdowninstructionsandreturntheheatertothedealeroraddressgivenonthelastpage.
D. LEAK DETECTION:Beforeeachuseoftheheater,checkallfittingsandconnectionswithasoapsolutiontobesuretherearenoleaks.NEVER, NEVERUSEANYFLAMEFORLEAKTEST.

OLOR A GAS COMBUSTIBLE Los gases LP y el gas natural contienen sustancias aromáticas artificiales añadidas específicamente para facilitar la detección de fugas de gas. Si se produjera una fuga de gas, usted debe poder oler el gas combustible. Dado que el propano (LP) es más pesado que el aire, debe tratar de detectar el olor lo más cerca del piso posible. ¡CUALQUIER OLOR A GAS SERÁ LA SEÑAL PARA TOMAR MEDIDAS INMEDIATAMENTE!•Nohaganadaquepudierainflamarelgascombustible.Noactiveningúninterruptoreléctrico.Nodesconecteningunatomadecorrientenicablesdeextensión.Noenciendafósforosniningunaotrafuentedellamas.Noutilicesuteléfono.
•Saqueatodaslaspersonasdeledificioyaléjelosdeláreainmediatamente.

•Elhábitodefumarpuededisminuirsusentidodelolfato.Exponerseaunolorduranteunperíododetiempopuedeafectarsusensibilidadaeseolorespecífico.Losolorespresenteseninstalacionesdondesecríananimalespuedenenmascararelolordelgascombustible.
• La sustancia aromática presente en el gas propano (LP)y en el gas natural es incolora y la intensidad de su olorpuede desvanecerse en algunas circunstancias.

B. EL PROPANO ES MUY INFLAMABLE: Deproducirseunafuga,elpropanoseacumularáypodríadesatarseunincendio.Elgaspropanotieneunolorcaracterísticofuertequepuedeserdetectadofácilmente.Nuncaenciendafósforosniningúntipodellama,niprovoqueunachispaeléctricaenunrecintodondehayaoloragaspropano.Ventileeláreaafondo,saqueelcalentadoralexterior,encuentreyreparelafuentedelafugaantesdeencendercualquierelectrodoméstico.Sinoestásegurodeestasinstruccionesdesalojeeláreainmediatamenteypidaayuda.
