What is NetLibrary?

NetLibrary provides access to the library’s collection of NetLibrary e-books, which are part of the library’s growing collection of eContent resources. eContent is the digital version of books, journals, and database content. You can access the library’s eContent 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Where? How?

You can access NetLibrary: ◦Directly via a campus computer

or◦Off-campus computer via

1.The Galileo database or

2.A NetLibrary account.

Option 1: Finding an eBook

You can find NetLibrary and other eBooks two ways.

Option 1 is in the GCSU Library Catalog.

Choose the KEYWORD SEARCH option.

Enter your search terms in the boxes provided, include “NetLibrary” as a search term. Then click “Go”, to perform search.

Select the title of the book, you are interested in viewing

Select “E-Resource” and click on the link.

Access the Galileo Database via the GCSU Library Homepage, located under “Find Articles”

Click the Tab for “Browse by Type”

Click on “Books, E-Books and Book Reviews”

Find NetLibrary in the List, and Click to Access

You can then search NetLibrary’s site for

eBooks

Options to access NetLibrary

You have two options to access NetLibrary books from off campus: ◦1. By signing up for a free NetLibrary account

from a campus computer.

◦2. By accessing NetLibrary books through the Galileo Database

It is best to sign up for a free NetLibrary account while on campus, for easy access while off campus.

Creating An Account On Campus

In order to access NetLibrary from home, you'll need to establish an account from a campus computer.

Go to the NetLibrary home page at www.netLibrary.com and click on the Create a Free Account link at the top of the page.
