    New Process for Requesting Customer Historical Data

    The Request Customer Usage module within the Net Energy

    Metering Online Application Portal provides a secure process

    for contractors to download a customer’s historical energy usage data after receiving the customer’s authorization

    Previously the process for requesting Customer historical data

    required a contractor to call or email the Delmarva Power call

    center

    Now contractors can use an online tool to easily receive access

    to customers’ usage data. This self-service process gives renewable energy contractors the information they need to

    quickly and easily size proposed solar generating systems

    Customers can now quickly authorize contractors access to their

    historical usage data from within My Account

    Benefits of Using the Request Customer Usage Module

    Eliminates the need for customers to provide copies of past bills to a solar contractor or to call the Delmarva Power call center to request copies of the bills

    The process is quick and simple. Customers can grant permission through My Account for one or more contractors to access their historical usage data – which facilitates competitive price quotes for solar projects

    Decreases the need for follow-up phone calls to Delmarva Power

    Contractors can export customers’ energy use data to simplify sizing calculations

    The online process provides all the monitoring and tracking convenience of the new Net Energy Metering Online Application Portal
