KUSD Jazz All-Stars 4:30 p.m.
A 20-piece ensemble of the finest high school jazz musicians in the Kenosha Unified School District. The KUSD All-Stars perform a broad range of big band repertoire including music from jazz legends like Count Basie, Les Hooper, Matt Harris, Bob Mintzer, Gordon Goodwin and Wynton Marsalis.
Funky Michael Coleman and Steve “Rainman” Rainey will bring together former HarborPark festival performers to host an electrifying Chicago Style Blues Jam session. Don’t miss the Real Deal Blues band along with the following talented artists: vocalist Antoinette Slater, harmonica player Jinx Lee, and guitarist Tallan the “T-Man” Lantz.
The HarborPark All Star Blues Revue hosted by Funky Michael Coleman and Steve “Rainman” Rainey 1:30 p.m.
Omar Coleman and Toronzo Cannon showcase an array of soulful Chicago style Blues. Omar Coleman has established himself as one of the nation’s premier harmonica players and blues vocalist alive today, billed on festivals with legends like Robert Cray, Buddy Guy, Koko Taylor, Ruth Brown, and Robert Randolph. With a voice soulful beyond his years, Omar has impressed audiences across the nation with his genuine, seasoned harmonica skills and vocals. Toronzo returns to Kenosha with his rhythm guitar-style blues. Inspired by the three Kings (Freddie, B.B. and Albert), a little Hendrix and some 70’s R&B/Soul, Toronzo soon developed his own powerful, gospel-flavored vocal style and electrifying stage presence. This power duo is in high demand, playing in some of Chicago’s greatest blues venues like Buddy Guy’s Legends, House of Blues, Kingston Mines, B.L.U.E.S, and Blue Chicago.

About Jacob “Bubba” Maki…On May 6th Jacob “Bubba” Maki, a handsome 4 year old from Twin Lakes, was diagnosed with medulloblastoma, an unfortunate cancer that affects the brain and spinal cord. Although the family is fortunate at this point to have most of their medical bills taken care of, unfortunately their household bills are not. Jacob’s dad, John, is his best friend and has stayed home from work to be by his side during his chemo treatments and bone marrow transplants at Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee. Jacob’s mom Samantha, is a loving stay-at-home Mom, raising their 2 year old daughter Ava and doing her best to make sure Jacob is comfortable during histreatments. The Mahone Fund, Texas Roadhouse, Bear Real Estate Group, Candlewood Suites,
the Maki family and a host of friends have joined forces to support “Jacob’s Journey” during this challenging time. A portion of the proceeds from the HarborPark Jazz and Blues festival will be donated to support Jacob’s journey. To learn more about “Jacob’s Journey” please visit jacobsjourney.info
