NESBA  Fall  Finals  2018  Sunday  November  4,  2018  

 Location:    Lawrence  Memorial  Stadium    240  Osgood  St  Lawrence  MA    Start  Time:    10:30AM    (Gates  open  at  9:00AM)  FINAL  UPDATE:    10/29/18  Bands  may  arrive  starting  at  9:00AM.      Ticket  Prices:    $15.00  Adults    $10.00    High  School  Students  and  Senior  Citizens         Children  5  and  under  pay  no  admission  fee.    CASH  ONLY!!!!      Bus  and  Truck  Information-­‐    Busses  and  Trucks  will  all  turn  down  N  Parish  Rd    and  park  in  the  back  of  Lawrence  High  School.          All  Busses  and  Trucks  will  exit  on  to  Chickering  Street.    PLEASE  do  not  exit  the  parking  lot  the  same  way  you  entered.    This  will  create  a  traffic  issue.  (Map  Below)    FOR  2018  Finals:  ALL  Parking  is  restricted  around  the  stadium  due  to  gas  line  work  being  done  in  the  neighborhood.    PLEASE  be  prepared  for  limited  parking  immediately  near  the  stadium.    NO  CARS  can  park  behind  Lawrence  HS  in  order  to  keep  that  space  for  warm  up,  eqpt  set  up  and  props.    Warm  Up  Areas-­‐    There  are  THREE  warm  up  areas  and  multiple  spots  for  front  ensemble  and  guard  warm  up.    All  bands  are  asked  to  limit  your  warm  up  time  to  NO  MORE  than  30  Minutes  in  any  location.    An  estimated  warm  up  schedule  is  attached.    ALL  BANDS  MUST  PLAY  AWAY  FROM  THE  STADIUM.    Percussion  sections  must  set  up  to  the  farthest  back  side  of  the  warm  up  area.  (Schedule  below)    Bathrooms-­‐    Available  in  the  high  school  near  bus  parking.    Additional  bathrooms  are  located  in  the  stadium.    Staff  and  Spectator  Parking-­‐    Parking  is  on  the  street  and  in  the  shopping  center  lot  in  front  of  the  stadium.      Cars  will  not  be  allowed  to  park  in  the  bus/truck  area.    Concessions-­‐    will  open  at  10:00AM  and  close  at  6:30PM.    Please  plan  accordingly.    Awards-­‐    There  are  two  award  ceremonies.    Bands  in  the  first  award  ceremony  are  asked  to  pack  your  trucks  and  move  them  out  of  the  truck  parking  area  as  soon  as  your  band  is  done  performing.    Trucks  can  park  in  the  shopping  center  lot  across  from  the  stadium  after  reloaded.      Awards  are  DRUM  MAJOR  and  GUARD  CAPTAIN  ONLY.    Trash  and  sanitation-­‐    Please  make  sure  that  you  DO  NOT  leave  trash  in  the  bus/truck  parking  area.    If  you  do  have  any  trash,  please  take  it  with  you.    

Pictures-­‐    There  are  no  group  photos.      Videos-­‐    Video  taping  is  not  allowed  at  any  NESBA  events.    Wrist  bands  and  check  in-­‐    Will  take  place  at  the  MAIN  SPECTATOR  GATE.    Staff  badges  are  not  valid  for  this  event.    Each  unit  ONLY  receives  18  wristbands  for  Finals.        Motorized  Vehicles-­    If  you  have  an  electric  pit  cart  there  ARE  restrictions  to  your  movement  in  the  stadium.    If  your  pit  cart  is  gas  powered  it  will  be  checked  by  stadium  officials.    You  may  want  to  put  something  near  the  gas  tank  to  protect  it  from  creating  any  leaks  etc…    NO  WHEELS  or  DRAGGING  of  Equipment  is  allowed  on  the  brand  new  running  track.    Please  use  the  plywood/mat  protection  to  travel  and  place  equipment  on  the  track.    This  includes  drum  major  podiums.    If  possible,  place  all  drum  major  podiums  on  the  turf.    Not  the  track!    Hashes-­‐    Both  sets  of  hashes  on  this  field  (Taped).    Please  plan  accordingly.    University/College  Bands-­‐    your  parking  will  be  at  the  South  Lawrence  Elem.  School  on  Crawford  Street.    Please  follow  the  directions  to  bus/truck  parking  and  we  will  tell  you  how  to  get  to  this  other  lot.    The  school  is  near  the  stadium  but  it  is  a  block  walk.    Please  keep  this  in  mind  regarding  bathrooms  in  the  stadium  etc.      Medical  Services-­‐  Will  be  available  near  the  front  gate  of  the  stadium.      TRACK  IS  OFF  LIMITS  TO  ANYTHING  ON  WHEELS!!!    A  new  running  track  has  been  placed  down  at  the  stadium.    Please  only  bring  equipment  (including  all  vehicles)  that  pull  eqpt  along  the  turf  and  use  the  plywood  entrance  and  exits  in  the  stadium.    PLEASE  NOTE-­    Osgood  Street  in  front  of  the  stadium  is  under  construction  and  will  be  off  limits.    Please  do  not  park  or  go  down    that  street.    Thank  you      We  wish  you  the  best  of  luck!
